This welder worked good for about 30 minutes of welding. After that t became intermittent making skips in my weld. Think it was the ground clamp I repositioned it but it made no difference. Next I ground a spot with a rotary grinder and placed the ground clamp on it. It made no difference. Continuing to try to weld it still left gaps in my weld. After welding a few more minutes it quit completely. i returned it for a full refund.

I got this portable mig welder because I have some work to do that requires a few things: a light and portable MiG welder. That I can switch to arc welding. This thing does everything I need. Tested it on some small parts. Before my big work. I read someone say they couldn’t get mig working. Gotta out the clamp on the + side for mig welding. Great little welder. Easy to set up (took 3 minutes). Comes with a pack of welding rods and a reel of flux core. Good product! Now I’m ready for my job. Gonna fix some bad welds on my Mustang.
