So far no cuts. Knifes are durable and cut food but no fingers yet. My grandson wears the gloves when he cuts. They are easy to use. Great gift for a toddler.

My 6 year old was excited to use this kit. He had a fun time peeling his cucumbers and then chopping them with the wavy cutter. He also use the bunny shape cutter to cut his stacked up ham. The day he helped prepare his own lunch he did eat more of it than usual. I hope we have the time for him to prepare his own lunch and he will be more likely to eat it. We liked all the supplies that came with it but we didn’t use the mold yet or the wooden bread dough divider ( at least that what I think it is) the cutting board was thin and a little warped. Otherwise it is a fun kit for kids and nothing is sharp. I was surprised the peeler actually peeled the cucumber.

The media could not be loaded. My grandsons are going to love this. They already like to help their moms in the kitchen. I got them a chef’s hat and apron set from Target to go with it when they were $5. Seems to be of good quality, should be safe and easy to use. Update: They love this and so do their moms. So cute!!!

The set size itself was perfect; I wanted a kit that had a few usable items and some of the other kits online had way too many pieces. The knives are all sturdy enough for grip and my child really enjoys stamping his food into different shapes. The peeler is probably my favorite since it truly will not slice skin but still easy enough for toddler usage. The only thing I DONT use is the safety gloves since they are WAY too big (probably will fit children 5+) and the cutting board which is made of cheap plastic (I don't want plastic contaminants in the food we're prepping). A great collection and a great price.
