These are beautiful shutters & they're easy to install. I can't address their true quality, bc that will depend upon how they hold up over time. The black ones are a nice deep black & the color goes all through the product. They didn't have the exact size we needed, so we've cut some wood to match & are painting it black to add to the bottom & give us the extra 1.5 " we need. Did this before with another pair of shutters & it looked fine; no one ever noticed. Manufacturers need to offer more widths as these are narrow looking for the windows we have & custom made shutters are outrageous in price. Right now (2024), everything is overpriced. ... show more

Our vinyl shutters were approaching 20 years old and seemed a bit faded. Black, so we really didn't realize how faded until they were replaced--WOW! These made a HUGE difference and were a perfect fit . They brought the black shudder accent back. Arrived in perfect condition and were easy to replace--know that you have to drill your own holes in the shutter when replacing--they do not come pre-drilled. ... show more
