This is, indeed, a drop-in replacement for 1973-1991 square body Chevrolet or GMC pickup or suburban. Of course, you must have the necessary associated equipment for it to fit...specifically the correct rubber radiator mounts, fan shroud, and top radiator support bracket. For the shroud, use the one-piece 454 big block shroud, LMC Truck part number 32-2850. This can also be found under part number CLF002NA, typically around 22 dollars. For the rubber mounts, I purchased the 11 dollar ones from Amazon, B09YR2ZZZ3. Or, you can use the name brand Energy Suspension 3.6118G. The Amazon ones fit great without modifications with this AlpaSpare 730 radiator. For the top mounting bracket, use LMC Truck 32-0988, again, fits without modification on 81-87 truck. For other years, check LMC Truck, as the 73-80 uses a slightly different top mount. I converted my 1982 GMC C1500 with a 305 small block to this heavy duty big block radiator and it works great. Of course, long term durability remains to be seen, but since all new production radiators are built in the same manner, I have no reason to doubt it at this time.

I bought this radiator to replace the ome on my son Honda. We fall behind on replacing it. We started last week. We'll surprise. Even though it say it's a oem fit. We'll this one was not. It also mentions tat the cap is compatible with the old original oem from Honda. We'll is not. I reached out to them to try to get my money back. Because I ended it buying one at auto zone & that one fit perfectly no problem even the old cap. It's been almost 2 weeks & I haven't heard from this seller. I enclosed a picture of the receipt for the one I got at autozone. Please look somewhere else for your honda parts.

So far, this radiator has been a great purchase—especially for the price. I drive a 2009 Ford Explorer and didn’t realize the original radiator had a crack at the top until recently. After doing some research and brushing up on mechanical basics, my husband and I decided to tackle the replacement ourselves. The installation turned out to be fairly straightforward, even for DIYers. The radiator did arrive with a few bent fins, which was disappointing, but thankfully it didn’t affect performance. After a week of daily driving, everything is running smoothly with no issues at all. No leaks, was the perfect length and it is cooling just like a radiator should do. Overall, I’d give this product a solid 10/10 and would definitely recommend it. My only suggestion would be for the packaging team to handle items with a bit more care to avoid minor damage during shipping.
