These scissors are nice because there’s a little knob that props them up from the table, making them easy to pick up. The scissors are sharp, and the fading scissors work fine too. The blades are sharp enough to cut your hair without pulling your hair, and they are pretty lightweight for solid metal scissors. The other items are pretty basic 30 cent items (e.g., combs, hair clips, oil, and wipe pad). In other words, the items are the scissors, the rest are just bonus items. It also includes a carrycase with enough storage capacity to hold everything. The only issue is that the handles for both scissors are very small, and too small for my thumb. To top it off, the thumb ring side has a sharp edge on the inside, where there’s a cutout for the plastic stopper (see photo). But the O area for your thumb is sharp and cuts into your thumb, making it uncomfortable to use the scissors until you file it down. The scissors are also on the smaller and thinner end. Overall, the price it is really affordable, if you have smaller hands and don't mind filing down the rough edges.

This hair cutting set works very well, as intended, and it includes all the essentials you need for cutting hair at home. The hair scissors look very nice and they are hand-sharpened, featuring an excellent sharp blade edges for precise cutting and thinning that makes them easy to use. The size is great and they’re comfortable to use and hold. This is an excellent value set that even comes with a zipper storage case, hair clips, hair ties and a good sized hair cutting cape to make cleanup easier. Highly recommend!

These work well for my needs. The scissors are sharp and precise, and everything else is just a bonus for me. I’m left handed, so a lot of scissors don’t work as well for me. Whether or not there’s a difference between right and left hand, I can’t say for sure, but these are amazing when I use them. The clips and combs are great to have on hand, and they’re all conveniently stored in a zippered leather pouch. As an aside, the zipper also works really well, and it hasn’t snagged once. The scissors are adjustable, and the salon cape is a nice touch. I can finally stop bringing out a towel! I really appreciate the ease and precision of these scissors, and I’ll be directing my sister to them next.

I cut my own hair and my son's hair since long time ago and I use professional scissors and thinners. This set is very thoughtful in that it includes everything you need to do the job at home. The cape, the combs, and both scissors, plus hair clips and a scissors case. Since the scissors are new, they are sharp because they are unused. However, the turn knob on the scissors needs to be turned in every snip you make, because it doesn't seem to keep itself in place. Both scissors does not have a professional snip to it when you cut because of how the turn knob is. The combs, cape, hair clips are all made of cheap quality. The whole set is very affordable, but the quality is in need of improvement. I guess you can say, if you just starting to learn how to cut hair at home, you can get this set and use the money you saved from expensive set to invest in the fake hair for practice. Oh, this set was so thoughtful that it even includes the oil for polishing the scissors!

I have been cutting my husband's hair for several years now and I found this set mostly helpful. The scissors are sharp and the cape keeps the hair off of his shirt. All of the other items are incidental. Having extra combs is nice, but I will never use the InvisiBobble knock offs or the alligator clips. It is helpful that most everything (except the rat tail comb) fits into the zippered pouch. I'm going to have to start charging him for my services now that I look professional! Overall this is a nice set for doing at-home cuts
