I did not expect super quality for this price but what I got was much worse than I expected. Both boxes were damaged before they were packaged for shipping. The metal is a very light gauge and unsuitable for any type of heavy tools. Returning this item so far has been a nightmare. Unable to contact seller directly. I sent them a message via Amazon but I am not holding my breath. They want over $50.00 just to return this item and that is not including shipping which I have to pay. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this tool chest, You will be very unhappy with the quality and the seller. The seller contacted me and offered a generous partial refund. I did not really give the seller time and in the end, they made it right but, know this: the tool chest would be adequate for an art or sewing class. Maybe good for electronic supplies and tools. It is not suitable for a wood working or automotive shop environment. Drop a 1/2 inch drive socket in one of these drawers from a height of 5 or 6 inches and it will leave a dent. Very light gauge steel and some spot welds have come loose. ... show more

It's cool... the locks aren't worth much... the bottom door with the lock its very strong it can just be lifted and opened..not very secure...it's not worth over $200.00 in my opinion

Product was what was expected for the price but despite use of wood dent protection and foam surrounding the entire unit it was not sufficient for the trucking. There were several dents in corners of the unit. Fortunately none affected its serviceability. It will get used as is.
