was really looking for a larger hanging basket and this is it. It's expensive, but my last version lasted over years. Actually they're still in good shape, just tired. Despite the dimensions, this is deep. I wish I had done a fern or other plant in it so it looked fuller to start. However this will hold a lot of plants. My prior one had an automatic drain spout but I really like that there is a plug where I can let out the water if there is too much. The visual indicator is great for seeing how much is there and not overwatering. I am very pleased.

Bought these to keep my plants alive while I travel. Came home to a mess and dead plant. The water reservoir is too heavy for the outer shell and broke it down the seam. Expected higher quality for $50

I wanted something nicer looking than the typical cheap hanging basket you get when you buy flowers in the spring. I originally bought the 11" version of this with the plan to just remove the flowers from a store bought hanging basket and replant them into the 11" planter. I don't think it would have been big enough for that, and it was too small for the look I was going for. These are beautiful and the larger size just makes more of an impact. I have not had any issues with the chain, as I've read in some reviews. The baskets are substantial and hold a good amount of water as well. I'm super happy with these! I also bought the matching rail planters as well.

I bought a set of two of these. One of the hooks, after being heated in the sun, bent so that the pot slipped off the support and fell to the ground. Pot is cracked and hook is now a straightened piece of wire. These are the most expensive pots I have ever purchased and I deeply regret my investment.

This is the only place and only seller where I could find this size of a planter in an entire search of the www (seriously). This is the perfect size/type for a larger plant. It is sturdy, well made, and looks great. I just wish it wasn't so expensive because a 11inch is about half the price of this larger one, but I had no choice because of previous.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have purchased 2 of these and had to return one because the inner container was cracked. I just got the replacement and was excited to transplant my container into it. When filling with water the hook failed… it dropped to the ground and broke the outer pot. I’m not sure yet if I will purchase another. This is definitely a product flaw that needs to be fixed. It sure is beautiful and I love the size.
