The fuel tank in my tractor is up high in the air and so I am often trying to figure out an easier way to fill it up. Hold a 5 gallon can at or above shoulder level for as long as it takes to empty the can gets tiring pretty quickly, plus I recently added a tool box that limits the overhead access. This fuel nozzle is exactly what I needed. The motor seems strong and pushes the fuel out quickly so I can fill my tank even faster than pouring straight out of the can. Moreover, the nozzle fits under the tool box without a problem so refueling is so much easier. It is so easy to set up and use. The hoses connect to the pump with simple worm screw clamps and the wires clip to a 12v battery. Fortunately I have a small 12v battery so I didn’t trade hoisting the heavy fuel can for lugging a heavy traditional 12v battery. I wish the nozzle handle felt more sophisticated, but I guess that is the trade off for an economical fuel pump. The nozzle works fine, it just feels cheap.

This is a complete setup. Easy assembly, add power and you are in business. This is a small pump, but it dooes a fair jb of moving fuel. It is compact and highly portable. The kit comes with everything you need to start transferring fuel.

Just add a 55-gallon drum and a rechargeable 12v lithium battery, and you will have your own fuel station for your diesel farm equipment. Requires a bit of assembly and a way to seal the hose into the tank. This thing pumps 13 gallons per minute, so it fills up my 5-gallon tractor tank in seconds. It doesn't even give me a chance to use the handle lock. Great rig, just have to get it inside a barn to keep water out. I would love to see them include a bung fitting for a 55 gallon drum.

They do this great thing with welders of listing a "duty cycle" that lets you know what the equipment is rated for. If you are doing a bit of welding on home projects you do not need the same equipment someone on an assembly line using the tools on a 8-hour shift. I wish they did this for more products like a fuel transfer pump. I would not go with this model if I were on a construction site using the fuel pump multiple times a day. For my own need I repurposed an old truck diesel tank, so I can cheaply transport many gallons of fuel and supply a generator to an off-grid cabin. It is a lot of work to try and move the fuel in plastic jugs. This will be the answer to allow me to easily move the fuel from a trailer to the generator tank. Many of the fuel transfer pumps are very heavy duty and are priced accordingly. This is a great answer for those of us that want to move fuel, but not break the bank on equipment we don't use daily.

Got this to use with my 100 gallon off-road diesel tank. I got tired of filling up 5-gallon cans and I can just have it delivered. I wish it was 120V AC powered, but I can power this off of a battery or inverter at the tank. This thing is plenty stout and the hoses are large. The fill end hose should be longer though. But, this is a very well-built piece that can fill up my 7-gallon tank in less than a minute. I would recommend especially for mobile setups. But it works great for permanent setups too. Just plan on getting a longer hose for more flexibility.
