I’ve only ever used this dimmer with my 12V power supply. My circuit is limited to 0.5A and this dimmer failed after 1 year of use. I use my RV a handful of times a year. I removed the switch and my circuit still works perfectly without it. A DMM verified the failure at the dimmer. While I enjoyed the product while it worked, I now have a hole in my RV wall that is cut specifically for this faulty product. I’d recommend going with something more reliable unless this company decides to start providing a multi-year warranty.

Used on a set of 9 x1.5W puck lights. Dimmer works down to a 35-40% range I’d day.; lights were still very bright, not quite the ‘mood’ lighting I was going for. Came with easy plug & play instructions which is always good to have with a new product. My biggest complaint was the faceplate. The thickness of the plate didn’t allow for a pass-thru wall installation of the dimmer switch. It would require cutting a rectangular hole in the wall and securing the retaining nut to the plate. Rather, I drilled a 3/8” hole through my wall to fit the switch stem only, then tightened the nut to the stem and reamed bigger a 5/8” hole into the existing lug on the plate to let the control knob pass through. This way, if I decide to use a different type switch, I will not have to worry about covering up the large hole I created to try this out.

I'm using it to control the lighting in my garage and it works great. No visible flicker, the current draw from battery is reduced when using lower brightness settings, and the on/off switch works great.
