These are great battery boxes to install your batteries. Plenty of room. I love the grommets that come with it makes it very easy to run your wires through. It's also waterproof as well and for added security someone is not going to run off with your batteries there is a locking latch on it.

This is a nice, well-made steel box - but it had a few problems that made it unsuitable. I bought this for a battery that fit PERFECTLY into it, maybe an eighth of an inch clearance on all sides... until it hit the handles on the sides of the battery, which just kind of blew it right there. Then I realized that even if I'd chopped off the handles on the battery (not really recommended, you know) I wouldn't have been able to attach the battery cables to the top of the battery - the holes in the side would have been blocked by the battery. The 14x8 width and length of the box is just a smidge off - it's about 1/16th off each way. Which made it hard to fit into the EXACTLY 14x8 space I needed to set it into. Nothing that couldn't be dealt with by bending the supports, and it'd been okay if there weren't for the other problems. There's four small holes in the bottom to mount it, didn't turn out to be applicable since I'm returning it. The handles on the side would have made it quite portable, but I was going to attach it to my RV so they were superflous. All in all, this would have made a nice battery box for my RV IF I'd gotten a battery a bit smaller. It'd also make a pretty good tool bin, but I don't need one of those.

I used the Amazon AI to suggest a battery box based on the dimensions of my 300AH lithium battery. That battery is just a hair larger than all of the standard boxes, so none of the boxes work. Making my particular installation a little more difficult is there is not a lot of room on the trailer tongue so space was limited. If this box did not work I was going to have to move the battery inside somewhere and space is tight. This box fit the available space perfectly and fit the lithium battery perfectly. Fit was good, finish was the textured black which is what the trailer tongue is, so that was good. They included a very cheap lock but hey its something right. Also included rubber grommets to seal all of the pre-drilled holes, also nice. My one gripe is the metal is extremely thin so I deducted one star for that. If you have one of the smaller 300AH batteries this box fits it perfectly. There is also room on the long end side to add a piece of hardware or a switch if needed. Trailer is a 2026 Cherokee 22' 16FQBL if that helps.

Very well constructed and it comes with everything to mount screws, bolts, plugs, for unused holes and even a lock to secure it. It has a very nice finish on it as well. Highly recommend if looking to run two batteries on an rv or boat.

I was tired of removing my battery every time I wasn’t using my RV. This box solved that problem, now all I have to do is lock it and done. It comes with 4 predrilled holes on the bottom that line up perfectly to the angle iron. I had to add a little bit of pressure to center it but it was worth it. Also, another nice thing about it is the plugs and protectors it comes with. The functionality is great and the sprig design on the latch works fantastic. Size was perfect for my travel trailer and the battery fits perfectly. Definitely worth the money!!!

You have to use the cheap little lock that comes with it. A regular Master lock won’t fit in the lock hole other than that I love the box
