I just wanted to share my thoughts on a toolset I recently got my hands on recently. If you're someone who likes to work on cars or assemble furniture, I highly recommend this set. It has a wide range of socket sizes, the case is really sturdy, and the Cr-V steel feels very durable for the price. It's definitely a solid choice for anyone building up their tool collection or someone just starting to build their very first tool collection, like me.

This set is about $80 - a 100 piece set from Snap On is $930!!! I love the array and versatility of tools in this set. I especially love the oil filter wrench. I can tell the ratchets and all aren't top quality but it's hard to really tell you about their durability without using them for several years. But a friend of mine and I have come to a realization about cheap tools vs expensive ones. (Within reason) get the cheap ones. Let's say they DO break in a year. At this price you can replace them 11 times before you ever reach the price of those Snap On tools! Hmm think about it.

I keep a set of harbor freight tools in my truck for just in case moments and this set blows that one out of the water! Better set of wrenches too. The ratchets I didn't expect to be good quality but they are. Better than the Walmart brand set I bought and broke the first day! This set comes with a great assortment and the filter wrench is a nice touch. Not sure I will ever use it as I hand tighten my oil filters so I can get them off the next time. 40 years of doing it that way and not once have I had a problem. But as I said, good to have just in case. The case itself is unimpressive as it is just a molded plastic case and this type never lasts. However the latches are better then the usual type.
