I was super excited to get these. Had my soil and seeds all set up and ready to go. Pretty decent construction. Not sure how well the seed cups will survive multiple seasons, or how easy they will be to get replacements but that is another story. The multi-color lights for different growth strengths, again, I don't know enough about it. Need to run a test. The reason I gave two stars is because one of the lids the holes to insert the circle pieces aren't centered. This means even when you try to close off the vents to keep the humidity in, they just continue to vent anyway. See the pics. I've also included some pictures with sizing, so in case you need to see if they'll fit on your setup. To fill the trays with soil it took 15 cups per tray, or a total of 30 cups of soil for both trays. Hope this helps cause I couldn't find the info and ended up buying WAY too much soil. So between 7 and 8 quarts of soil will fill both. I filled mine to the brim and over a bit because of what I'm trying to grow. The tiny tools are basically useless for me. I understand why they add them, but I don't think I'll ever use them. The tools are much smaller than I was thinking. Update: Best customer service I've ever received. They immediate reached out and offered to replace the damage pieces. Kind and apologetic. Truly phenomenal customer service that stands behind their product.

This kit has truly satisfied my passion for growing vegetables. The 80 trays offer an ample amount of space, which is great. Unlike those cheap trays I've used before, these look sturdy and durable and I don't worry about them breaking or leaking at all. I place them on my windowsill, convenient for me to check on the seedlings frequently. My favorite is the built-in LED lights, providing excellent lighting conditions for my seedlings. I can effortlessly switch the light among red, blue, and white modes. During the first week or two, I used the blue light mode, which effectively promotes seed germination. By the third week, I noticed that the seedlings had grown vibrant leaves, and that's when I switched to the red light mode. Overall, I am very pleased with this kit and plan to buy more in the future.

I'm a newbie gardener, and this seed starter package made the process easy and enjoyable! The trays are durable and the ideal size for windowsills or small garden shelves. What truly impressed me were the grow lights—what a fantastic feature! The color-changing lights are more than just decorative; they also have a purpose. My seeds grew much faster under full-spectrum lighting, and the growth has been healthy and robust. The built-in timer with three settings is quite useful. I can set it and forget it, making it simple to keep even with a hectic schedule. The glass humidity domes are also a fantastic bonus—they help retain moisture and allow me to keep an eye on things without continuously raising the lid. I was just looking for a seed tray and ended up with a kit that kind of does everything for me. The 96 LED lights built in are such a bonus—no need to worry about buying a separate light. I love how you can switch between red, blue, and white lighting. The white light makes everything look super vibrant, and the blue one seems to keep things from growing too leggy. I haven’t used the red one much yet, but I’m planning to once the seedlings get a little bigger. The domes are sturdy and fit well, and the vent on top doesn’t feel flimsy—it actually stays where I set it. There’s no leaking from the tray, and the drainage holes are right where they should be. It also looks kind of sleek on my kitchen counter.

Living in an apartment means I don’t get a lot of sunlight, so grow lights are a must. What’s cool about this kit is that it’s not just a tray—it comes with the lights already there, and they’re actually decent quality. I really like having 80 cells to work with, because I always go overboard with seeds and this gives me room to plant a bunch of different varieties without running out of space. Plus, the three different light colors are a great idea—helps me adjust based on what I’m growing. I’ve been sticking mostly to blue and white so far, and the results are solid. I’m already seeing sprouts that look strong and upright. The trays drain well but don’t leak, and the domes keep the warmth and moisture in without steaming everything to death.

I’ve tried a few seed starter kits before, but this one is by far the most convenient. The 80-cell trays are spacious enough for different types of seeds, and the grow lights are a highlight. The three lighting modes are super handy—I love switching between them depending on what I’m growing. The blue light seems to make the seedlings stronger, and the red light really helps with leaf growth. The adjustable humidity dome is a nice touch too—no more guessing if the moisture level is right. Everything feels sturdy, and the lights are bright but not harsh.
