I installed this alternator in a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.6L engine. The build quality is as good as any aftermarket alternator and it’s definitely not a reman. It puts out a steady 14ish volts at idle which is what’s needed. No complaints with this alternator. Installation was easy and it looks identical to the OEM alternator. This item also came very well packaged which I appreciate because in the past, I have ordered alternators online that weren't packaged well and arrived with a bent positive battery terminal and dented pulley. In the last few years, I’ve seen the quality of parts sold at auto parts stores go down considerably and have had better luck getting parts on Amazon. I also have trouble justifying putting overpriced OEM parts on older, high mileage cars that I’m repairing just to keep on the road. Happy wrenching. ... show more

Poor quality materials and was broken before I opened it. Had the main wiring harness plug completely gone. The cheap brittle plastic didn't last past the pets who packed it
