I like this hard case for a few reasons despite its small size. First of all, it makes a great small case that can be used along with other tools or bigger tools/tool bags but still only keep essential smaller tools. In my case, I have smaller hand tools for stuff like electrical work, odds and ends, and having these smaller tools in a big toolbox/tool bag just means I have to go and fetch the tool box/bag or walk to the toolbox to get maybe one or two tools I really need. So having a case like this allows me to keep those smaller tools in it and store it somewhere whether it’s the bedroom, in a closet or next to me work desk. Then when I need to I can take the little box with me wherever I go. It’s very functional in a lot of ways, it can be used as a first aid kit, for paint brushes/pens, for sewing kits, loose parts for 3D printers, sporting goods accessories/tools, or just a decent hard case for something like trading cards. The value is good for what you are getting based on a specific use case. Because of its size it will fit very specific things. I’m not sure if it’s waterproof but it does have an inner gasket that keeps the lid sealed very well. The latches don’t have holes for locks but they do require you to push up then pull out for the latches to unlock which can prevent accidentally opening it. I like the smooth surface of the box which will allow me to mark and label it as necessary or even apply stickers on it. There are other brand hard cases that may suit your needs better but this one will work for a very specific need.

I picked this up just because it stood out from other tool cases/boxes in dimension. The measurements and clearly stated and accurate in the description, but it wasn't until I had it in hand that I realized how similar it is in format to a Switch, at least Gen 1. The rectangular shape does fit well for my use case, which typically involves a larger rectangular bag as well. The latch system is a bit different from what I'm accustomed to from a Pelican or Nanuk case - it does require a second latch down to fully secure it. Works well, just had to remind myself to press down a second time. Biggest feature for me is the full opening. I'm not totally at a point where this case could replace a toolbag, but I'm can get there with this case particularly because it opens flat where I can see everything. To me, that's an advantage over a bag with a limited opening. It does not have any built in dividers or organization to keep contents in place, but that's not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, quite happy with the case as it is unique. Probably not the heaviest duty case out there, and I don't intend on submerging it to test how waterproof it is, but I do find it well made overall and well worth it.

This box is a nice, sturdy box that should hold up well. Just be sure to set expectations and know what you're ordering. It's marketed as a toolbox, but you're really not going to get many tools in an 11" toolbox (see picture). However, if you have a need to protect a specific tool, this box could be ideal. It's fairly sturdy and the latch mechanisms are nice - you have to push up on them to allow them to release, so it's not going to open accidentally (see second pictire). I'm thinking of putting foam in the bottom and making a cut-out for one of my more sensitive tools (calipers, laser, etc). All that said, the price is a bit high for what you get - you can probably find a similar or better option for a bit cheaper with a little searching.

This is a sturdy and substantial metal tool or storage box. I wanted a small first aid box for my husband’s shop. The normal fabric first aid kit options would not meet the criteria of rodent proof, small, easy to open if injured, and highly visible. This box is exactly what I needed. There is room for bandages, tape, eye wash, and coban wrap to hold anything or cover any wound to get to the house or the hospital. This moved to the top of my list when my husband almost lost his finger…there was nothing available in the shop other than toilet paper… he wrapped his finger / hand in toilet paper to drive himself to the urgent care for stitches. There is one thing that was not clearly outlined in the listing, it does require pushing up on each latch to get them to open. They can be done one at a time - which it’s important to me based on the injury I mentioned above. The dimensions describe the size accurately - The exterior measurements of the case are 10.24” tall / 4.3” wide / 2.4” deep. For someone who is not good at estimating sizes,I took a photo with some basic first aid supplies for scale.

This little GEINXURN toolbox surprised me with how well made it is. The paint and finish on both the plastic and metal parts are clean, smooth, and free from any rough edges or burrs. The plastic feels sturdy, probably reinforced ABS, and the handle and latches work perfectly. Snapping the latches shut gives you that oddly satisfying click that makes you want to open and close it just for fun. Now, let’s be honest. This thing is more “adorable sidekick” than “serious garage warrior.” It’s not going to hold a power drill collection, but it’s perfect for small electronics. I use mine for portable hard drives, and the bright yellow color means I can actually find it when it hides among the chaos of my office. Price-wise, it matches those all-plastic cases you see everywhere, but I prefer having some metal in the mix. For the quality you get, it feels like a good value.
