Adequate for the purpose. Would like it better if thicker so I wouldn’t have to double up. But served the purpose well enough and long roll and can toss in the laundry. I always hang dry to last longer.

    • Helps prevent rash in skin folds
This Silver Infused Fabric is great. Had been using an antibiotic on parent having issues with rash in skin fold areas. Antibiotics worked to eliminate but rash would always come back. We have been dealing with rash for about 4 months. A friend recommended this fabric. We clean skin fold areas with soap and water, towel dry and place strips of this fabric in skin fold to wick away sweat. We have been putting new strips in daily and it is working well to prevent rash. Instructions state you can reuse but we haven't because rash is gone and want to wait a month or so to ensure completely healed before we test reusing cut strips for a few days. I have a bra with wicking material and I can wear multiple days as it stays dry. Therefore, I suspect this material will work as well because when I remove the strips they also feel dry. Being able to reuse will help w/ keeping cost down. ... show more

My wife used this material to put on a wound that she has to put some kind of powder on. Worked great. Not sure what else it is used for.

    • Heal developing red sores in folds of skin
This review is independent and is my experience. I was inpatient, 2023, When a nurse wanted me to use a piece of this fabric to heal a red sore developing between folds in lower abdomen skin. I immediately said- “forget it, there is no way a hunk of fabric will help heal.” I was told to try it. After 2 days, I saw the red area, about 1”x3”, was turning pink and smaller. Another 2 days and sore was gone. This product has helped to stop or heal sores between areas of skin that touch each other or to minimize collection of moisture, such as under breasts. It can be cut to size wanted, is grey, infused with silver, stretches, is washable, typically sold by the piece and is expensive. My insurance would not cover it. Cut an area that is larger than the sore, place it in the fold of skin, replacing if damp. It takes 3-4 days for reddened area or beginning of sore to heal. For a larger person, medicated powder and this silver infused fabric, are necessities for stopping folded skin sores Picture of this use were not included as the body area depicted could be misunderstood. ... show more

This is a great product for anyone with hard to reach wounds. It is also good for absorbing moisture. It is easy to use. A good price.

    • It helps healing from an irritation and enhances comfort.
The material wicks away moisture. It can be placed between skin folds where friction is created because of skin rubbing on skin. This cloth comes in a roll and can be cut to size and had lines and squares to help with the sizing.
