  • Tool kit
I have been setting up 2 of my guitars, a 3/4 Fender acoustic guitar and my Fender Stratocaster. I replaced the original saddle on the acoustic and had to resize and and fit the new bone saddle. Lots of great tools.

  • Good kit to get started ... but better to invest more $$ if you plan to work on many Guitars
Overall its a great all in 1 start kit. Gets you everything you need to maintain and work on your guitar. From pegs for acoustics, resin or bone (not sure) bridges and saddle's, to the abrasives (multiple types) to bring the action down. Its got it all. The minus one star really centers around the cable/string cutter. It just plain stinks.. my wire cutter from Irwin so much easier to cut the guitar cable. Otherwise the only missing piece this is missing the the neck stand to work on your guitar on the table with. But all in all its great to start with but definitely look for another pair of cable / string cutters. ... show more

  • Nice beginner, novice, hobbyist tool set.
Not Luthier quality, but totally fine for maintaining you personal stringed instruments! Was able to adjust my guitars and make them easy and comfortable to play.

  • Handy and extensive tools included
My boyfriend loves this kit and uses it all the time. He says it’s worth whatever I paid for it… so, definitely a good buy.

  • Try it and take your time
Had everything I needed to set up my first ever electric guitar. All tools look reusable. The nut files not so much. Great buy if you want to give it I chance without breaking your wallet. If it's your first time trying. Watch lots of videos until you fine the ones that help you understand the process. Fretboard radius is important in the set up process. Nut files held on until I got it right. Took me one whole day of carefully trying something new and it's make 100% difference ... show more

  • Doesn’t have a string spreader
I’m just getting back into setting up guitars and this isn’t that bad of a starter set but…. The thing you call a string spreader isn’t ! I think it’s a cleaner/applicator for string conditioner but I noticed on all of these sets their all calling it a string spreader lol
