So, there's a story here. I have kittens. They destroyed my lovely curtains. I decided to buy some black out curtains because the heat has been getting a bit intense here in the south. These are definitely not my first choice. I was looking for something relatively inexpensive. The curtains themselves are plain (obviously) and lack character. But, I bought them anyhow (the kittens are going to have their way with the curtains anyway). Other than the curtains being so plain, they block out light superbly! And, they block the heat! These are a perfect linen color and the texture makes it feel like linen while being a blackout curtain. It is truly blackout which has been wonderful. My only complaint is the liner is more of a gray and it would’ve been nice to have a white or cream color there so it blends better, but for the price, I’ll take it.
