Frays really easily if you don't use a hot knife. If you do use a hot knife the cut end will not expand.. So delima... I ended up using heat shrink on all the ends so the fray didn't effect the look. This stuff seems sturdy and strong. Made the project look great.

Works well and does everything that it claims to do well made? Haven't had any trouble using it. Just wish they had ones that were wider and fatter. The best I could get was 3/8. I would have preferred getting one that was at least one inch wide but this was the biggest you can get. I was using the three quarter inch one and while they worked some of the areas in my home have a lot of wires in it and some of them just fit without me having to separate them but still a good quality product and I would buy it again if I ever needed it. If he wants something with decent cable management, this one is a good way to go. The only thing is if you have a lot of wires and you need to pull some slack and thread it through these. If you have too many tied together, it's too tight and it won't easily slide out. So take that into account before you step a whole bunch of wires into this system. Try to leave a little bit of slack if you can. And a little bit of looseness. It is flexible but it's so well made that it is a little on the tight side. Otherwise worth the money

This is good sleeving for holding wires in place. You need to know how to use and make this work for you without being a disaster. I should make a video,to explain how to use this technique and product to provide an understanding of how it works. This is great for planned projects, it will organize and keep your circuit clean and secure. It will hide all the cables or wires in a nice way that ie easy, and flexible. Super lightweight and easy to use after you understand it.

This braided conduit is a good protective sheath for wiring, and it does that job well. The problem is with the specified diameter. This sheathing is expandable, but as you expand it, it shortens in length. I bought 1inch, but to get it to except a 1 inch cable you have to expand it from its natural size which is about three-quarter. This shortens the sheathing about 1 and 1/2 inches per foot so by the time I get to the end of a 25 foot roll with my 1 inch cable I have lost almost 30 inches in sheathing length. This size roll should have been labeled 3/4 inch. So be sure, and order one size larger than the diameter of the wire you’re sheathing if length is critical.
