Works as it should stright out the box Regrooved 4 semi truck tires blades are cheap they work but lose sharpness quick I keep my heat setting in the middle of the green anything more it starts to heat the blade to much

So either this or the Van brand at 3x the cost. The fuse holder had to be modified as it didn't turn on the 2nd time I tried it. The blades that comes with the unit are complete garbage. They are not tempered nor sharpened. I bought heavy duty tempered sharpened from the Van brand and works great. Used it to cut slots for better snow traction in my carbide studded block pttern track. Once the fuse holder correction, change of better blades & fixing of the blade retention screws it works great.
