Works good. Wish it was easier to clean up. You must run the paint thru the filter they give you or similar or it will clog quicker than you’d think. To me it’s just a pain to clean up and keep the nozzle and hose cleared out.

I finally had a chance to use this budget sprayer and I am quite pleased with it. Now keep in mind that this is not a Graco gasoline sprayer for the professional or even the souped-up diy-er who would go get an X9 or an X7 Graco and spray multiple 5 gallons at one time. This is truly a budget sprayer but it has some nice features. It is easy to assemble, it sprays a nice pattern with multiple tips and most importantly it is very easy to clean up if using latex. Now I can't tell you whether it would spray Home Depot's bear high gloss without floetrol because I put floetrol in every latex paint I get because I do a lot of brush work and I don't like brush lines and I also believe that floetrol makes the paint lay down better whether you're brushing rolling or spring and my typical floetrol pattern is a half a cup per gallon for high gloss and a quarter of a cup per gallon for a flat and Satins and a third of a cup for semi-gloss, with that being said my impressions are based on that. This sprayer puts a nice pattern down but I never just spray and go on the first coat. I do back roll in both directions and then after that dries I come back and do a quick top spray coat to diminish in the unlikely event that I have any roller lines which rarely happened if ever. Now the only con I can see with this unit is the following: there should have been a second paint container with a lid that fit both so that if you wanted to stop the job and you still had a half a hopper of paint you could have put a lid on it and then have the other container that you could fill with water or whatever liquid is needed to clean based on the paint you're using and then clean it up. I do not think that warrants a downgrade of stars cuz most people would just spray the whole container. I also wish the throat of the paint Hopper was bigger in diameter so I could get a brush in there a little bit more readily as I don't like to waste paint but those are minor things but it's actual function of spraying paint is quite nice. Clean-up is as easy as disassembling and running under warm water for latex. I'm glad I own the unit and I can see myself using this in the future for small paint jobs

Full transparency, I own the nationally recognized version of this sprayer that starts with a “W”. That sprayer was significantly more expensive, yet doesn’t work any better than this sprayer does. Plenty of power and adjustability and the spray pattern is very nice. I mostly use these sprayers for spraying lacquer on my wood projects to protect the finish. This sprayer has the ability to spray a fine and consistent coating which allows for quick drying. This allows me to sand between coats, tack cloth and respray quickly so I don’t waste my entire day waiting for a thicker coat to dry. Adjustments are as simple as turning a knob and this comes with 6 nozzles of different sizes. You can also choose from 3 different spray patterns and cleanup is easy with the included cleaning tools. If you are in the market for a quality sprayer for a great price, this is your sprayer!!
