I ordered this Jurassic Park set after receiving the G.I. Joe set, which was thoroughly impressive. Unfortunately this set does not match that standard. The Jurassic Park vehicles are lacking the hefty mass of the G.I. Joe vehicles, the wheels do not roll as well, and the paint applications are sloppy. The Jurassic Park logo on the hood of the Explorer is borderline illegible. Hopefully quality control is improved if the manufacturer continues this line. ... show more

Love this Jeep! This review is 2 years after buying, I gave it to my 3 year old brother (now 5) and he’s used it consistently for the last 2 years. Just last week he spent 4 hours driving it around and having a blast. We’ve replaced the batteries a few times, but nothing too outrageous for a kid’s toy. (We actually bought rechargeable AA batteries so the little one can bring them to us to swap out.) Drifts well on slick floors, and he’s had a lot of fun driving it around, both on carpet and wood floors. Such a great purchase! Highly recommend! ... show more

I LOVE this toy. I'm a Jurassic park series fan and this jeep looks amazing. It's currently being used to chase my sister's cats around the house since they didn't like the toy I attached to it to get them to chase it. Ah well. Also saw this at Wizard World Columbus (it's a comic con) with the original jeep used to ferry Gennaro and Hammond in the movie! They attached a blow up raptor to the roll bar and drove it around. Bought for my son's birthday. No battery is included so get your own AA batteries. Two for controller, four for the jeep. I have several remote cars for fun. This one is not a monster truck! This one is rear wheel drive, so it does slide a bit when you want to stop. It runs great on a smooth surface, not good on dirty road. It runs pretty fast! The rearview mirrors are fragile since I have knocked one off after scratching the wall. The size is around a gallon milk bottle. The range is not bad either. I would estimate 50 feet. ... show more

Our 4 year old received this for Xmas from Santa and was thrilled. He loves Jurassic Park and was excited to see he received the same Jeep he's seen in the movie. The Jeep is sturdy and runs well. It's a tad loud but I guess that adds to the realism. It does tend to lose traction at times on our wood floors, but it does run. Our son loves putting all kinds of toys in the Jeep and setting up his dinosaurs for the Jeep to hunt. ... show more
