As anything, I wish it was cheaper, that being said I am pretty pleased with this magnet maker. I haven't had any issues and the magnets are pretty strong. I can stack a bunch and they stick together. I made some test ones my kids play with and they hold up really well. Haven't had any come apart. If fact, I tried to pull some apart afterwards and there's no way you can do it by hand. I'm using a Midweight matte photo paper and it works just fine. Do not go with a heavy weight paper. ( They recommend 120 GSM to print photo NON glossy) The cutting machine that comes with it is a MUST! It makes it so easy to cut to the exact size. It comes with directions with pictures so it's pretty easy to understand. Overall I really like it! I will upload a video later on when I'm using it ... show more

I received the magnet maker kit and went right to work. I use 26lb matte photo paper from Red River for buttons, and thought it would work well for these, and it did. Out of over 100 magnets I made, only 3 didn't seal completely, and I assume I probably didn't line up the plastic quite right before pressing the magnet pieces together otherwise they would have. The parts included in this kitare very heavy. Which is good. Metal not plastic. The paper punch put out grease on the edges of the first 10 or so pieces that I cut out, after that they were clean. The magnet blanks could be used for buttons as well, though the pins are not included, but they worked great and the included magnets were very strong. Don't hesitate to try this out if you are looking to make 2x2" magnets or buttons. ... show more

The packaging was good but the product and the materials are poor. The magnetic machine doesn't precisely push the pictures into it. Also have missing pieces.

the unit arrived, i followed directions to create a magnet, and the unit got stuck. it was defective. i tried to work with the vendor through amazon messages but after multiple attempts and zero attempts at troubleshooting, i returned the unit. I tried to go with a lower cost unit (which this one is) but will purchase a higher priced one with a better CS ability. ... show more
