A straightforward, well-made, sturdy leather belt that fits me and my buckle. I am very satisfied. The edges are unfinished, so it is a little informal... but who is going to wear a heavy, wide leather belt with a business suit? It goes well with my ubiquitous jeans. The leather loop is a bit useless, though. It is a separate loop that most naturally fits between the two snaps. But that makes it so close to the edge of the buckle that it does not do much. Moving the loop outside the snaps allows it to slide anywhere along the belt, including off the end. I just took it off. The first belt loop on my jeans holds the protruding bit of belt well enough. If I had my druthers, the belt would have fewer holes. With a reasonable amount of extra belt pulled through the buckle, there seem to be a few too many holes still showing on the other side. That is not a serious issue, and I would certainly buy this belt again. ... show more

Belt shopping online is hard. I had no idea... I found a favorite buckle from the 70s and needed a belt for it. The variables include correct sizing, accurate width, belt thickness, leather quality, sheen, and whether or not the edges are burnished. And then there's the color... sometimes I wonder if one seller has just borrowed the picture and description from another seller vs picturing and describing their own product... This belt was perfect for me, but it took ordering and returning several belts to get there. This belt is: Heavy leather, not a dress belt, but also more finished than a tool belt. Firm but flexible. Something to wear with jeans. It has a slightly grainy look and is somewhere between matte and glossy. The brown is dark brown. The edges are burnished (smooth) I ordered size 38. It was 38 inches to the center whole (of 7 holes). 44.5 inches end to end. It was supposed to be 1.5" wide, it was just shy at 1 and 7/16" but worked great with my buckle. Obviously everyone's needs are unique, but hopefully this summary will help. ... show more

I don’t expect much given the price. The color is accurate, and it fit my buckle perfectly. Good price, but it arrived rolled up (expected) and when I unrolled it, the leather had creases. I applied a leather conditioner and hung it for a month, but it still looks the same.
