Our split wire loom tubing offers excellent protection for wire harnesses, tubing, hose, and cable. It is lightweight, very flexible and provides abrasion protection, crush resistance and is easy to install over wires. The tubing is a corrugated tube used to provide protection to a wire harness or any other product that may be subject to abnormal conditions, such as continuous abrasion & vibration wear, puncturing, water, snow, ice, salt & UV rays. Flexible convoluted tubing/conduit is manufactured from a blend of low- density polyethylene & linear low-density polyethylene resins.The convoluted surface enhances the appearance of your product by providing a uniform tailored finish. The split seam feature allows wires to be inserted easily, eliminating the costly time needed to apply tape, braid or loom. Not very high quality. In fact, this is the poorest quality wire loom I have ever used. Plastic is thin and not rigid enough. This makes the tubing fall off easily. Tubing also tends to curl under when installing for to it's lack of rigidity.

Cheap flimsy and pretty much worthless going to throw it in the trash just took it out to use it and literally you can smash it and it will hold that shape worst product I've ever bought like this

    • Not good for protecting cables from rabbits
I'm not giving a 1-star review because I'm not using the product for its intended purpose. The size is pretty good, if a little big, for things like cellphone cables and laptop chargers. It's also easy to put on. Unfortunately, it's VERY thin. I bought this to use as a cable cover for my laptop charger and other power cords to protect them from my rabbits. Due to being so thin, it lasted less than 3 days. I would not recommend this product for anyone looking to protect cables from animals. ... show more

This tubing is high quality polyethylene and I generally use it to protect cables for my automotive projects. The design is great! Flexible to use it easily. Especially the the split loom is a big plus! I use fabric tape on top of this to double secure everything. I think the protection with this tubing is no less than the original tubing in the car. At least it’s very close. Since it’s very flexible and a little softer that other brands I had, I don’t expect any cracks. Looks like it will resist any crushes or anything heavy on it. Unless sealed with any kind of tape I don’t believe that you can use it somewhere outside, even if it will not get direct contact with water etc. highly recommend this product especially if you plan to use a tape to seal the split.     • Use it to save cords from cat
Use it to prevent my naughty cat from chewing thru cords. Cover our fans, lamps, any and all exposed electrical cords. After a few months we have to replace the cover because it gets punctured but the cord is not touched. Cat like iPhone chargers the most. *sigh*

    • Was not strong like my other conduits
This states it is for Auto and Marine but the product was very thin walled and flimsy. My other conduits in 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4" are very thick walled and strong. Compared to them, this 1/4" flimsy conduit felt like conduit you would use in a home office (indoors) for low voltage wiring. If you are going to use this in a hot engine bay then do yourself a favor and opt for the 5/16" fire retardant (thick) style. This review is of the PRODUCT and absolutely not a review of the SELLER.     • Protected wires from chewing cats.
I used this to protect computer, phone, charger, and lamp cables from kittens that love to chew cables. They still chew the tubing but do no damage. I bought 1/4", 3/8', and 1/2" for various size cables. I should have bought the tool that opens up the split and guides the cable into the loom to make the job easier and quicker. ... show more

VERY thin. OK if using for inside of a house/ business, maybe inside a vehicle, but would not recommend if intended to use for under the hood or under vehicle use.
