This is an initial review based on receipt and washing. I'll add an update after I've slept in the sheets a couple of days. The sheets come in a bag made of the same material. It resembles a small pillow case. I love this as it means that after washing and drying the sheets can be stored back in the bag in the airing cupboard keeping the set all together. I have 2 or 3 other sets of Egyptian Cotton sheets. Some are 800 thread and one set is 1,000 thread similar to these. In fact, the trim design of the top sheet is very similar to these also.. The bottom fitted sheet is by far, the best I've come across for my 12" mattress. It easily wrapped and tucked under the mattress. Additionally, the bottom sheet has a "sewn in" elasticated strapping. I've not come across this before but it definitely adds to the fitting of the sheet to the mattress. Kudos for that feature. I had to wash the sheets on arrival, not just because the instructions advised but in order to get rid of the chemical smell that was really pungent. A cold wash on Delicate soon took care of that. I also dried them on low and I ironed the top sheet. I was impressed with this set for a number of reasons. The labels clearly state these are "Egyptian Cotton" as does the label on the "Pillow Case Bag" to store the set in. They are clearly 1,000 thread, not because I counted them but because you can tell by the feet and weight, plus hold them to the light. The material is dense. The sheets are "Sateen" and they really are very soft to the touch. I read one review that said they felt rough!!!! All I can tell you from having Egyptian Cotton Sheets for years is that they get softer with each wash. None the less, after the initial wash, these already feel awesome. If you do NOT wash them first then that's your fault for not reading the instructions clearly printed!!!! I purchased a Queen Set in Ivory. The top sheet is one of the largest I've ever had for a Queen sized set. It is about 3-4" wider and longer than any other set of Egyptian Cotton Sheet sets I have. NICE!!! I have only one minor issue. The top sheet trim (foldover at the top of the sheet). It has a string design that runs the width of the sheet. For some reason after carefully washing, that cotton "string" appears to have shrunk a little which impacted getting a nice flat edge when ironing. To emphasize, I washed in cold (Delicate) and low heat (Delicate) in the dryer and was only in there for 10 mins. So I have a little wrinkling of the top edge of the sheet. It is minor but none the less, it's there. Regardless, there's no 4.5 stars and I definitely would not rate these 4 so they get 5. Update after use to follow. UPDATE AFTER 6 WEEKS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've used and washed these a number of times since original purchase. They have softened a little but I will be honest, they still a little stiff. As for size, these are awesome and fit my 13" mattress with ease. They're the largest Queen sheets I've ever bought which I'm thrilled about as there's plenty of tuck in. I hope that after a few more washes they'll loose more of the stiffness. However to clarify, they're NOT uncomfortable in any way. They definitely do not scratch. I love these sheets. Contemplating getting a second set. The only issue I do find irritating is the top sheet trim at the top of the sheet. It has a "corded" look trim which is a pain to iron. I have only washed the sheets on Cold but the trim cord has shrunk very slightly which makes ironing the top piece very labor intensive otherwise it looks wrinkled. Still recommend

I can't live without these sheets best sleep in years!
I am so happy I have found these sheets! I have to admit I am a sheets snob. I buy so many sheets thinking they are the right feel, coolness, durability and get so disappointed. These have held up for 4 years now washing once a week! No pilling, no wear. They just keep feeling better with time! I loved them from day one. Such too quality fabric. Stays cool, smooth, thick and very luxurious. Price is so good for such a top quality! I have spent more on sheets that did not come close to this. I even have my fiance hooked and he never cared about sheets before these. Easy to put on bed perfect fit no struggle to keep on bed or fight to fit oversize queen.

Great set of sheets!
Color: 09: Silver
Size: King
These sheets are a wonderful fabric that is cool and comfortable. After washing only once, I can only attest they washed up great that first time. They are sized to allow for plenty of tucking at the bottom of the bed. I am very pleased with this set - great quality for the money!

feels like a luxury hotel bed now
Color: 06: Ivory
Size: Queen
I'm so glad I decided to upgrade to these Egyptian cotton sheets for my queen bed. Right out of the package, you can tell the quality is there they have that crisp, substantial weight to them but feel incredibly smooth against your skin. I've bought "egyptian cotton blends" before that felt scratchy and cheap, but these are the real deal and get even softer every time I wash them. They breathe so well too, so I’m not waking up hot or sweaty in the middle of the night anymore. The pockets are nice and deep, meaning they actually stay tucked under my mattress instead of snapping off the corners while I sleep. If you’re on the fence about spending a little extra on real cotton sheets, just do it they’re ridiculously comfortable and completely changed how well I sleep.

Lane Linen 100% Egyptian cotton sheet set. 1000 thread count.
Color: 01: White
Size: Twin
The sheets, thus far, have been exactly what I've been looking for. A higher quality sheet set that feels great, stays cool (it's May, so summer is near), and from the feel of the sheet set, seems like it'll be very durable in comparison to other sheets sets that I've tried throughout the years. The fitted sheet fits perfect. Some might think that it may run slightly small, but I prefer not having extra that I have to tuck underneath the bed. The flat sheet also fits perfect. The color is true to description. As far as being wrinkle resistant, it's hard to tell. As soon as I received them, I put them in in the washer, put them in the drier right after and made my bed as soon as they were done drying. There really wasn't much time for them to sit around and wrinkle up. My main concern was buying a high quality sheet set where I can actually feel the difference. From what I can tell, they doesn't seem to be much wrinkling going on. I also didn't let them sit around for much wrinkling to settle in. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase. And trust me, I'm one that reads the reviews to ensure that I'm making the wise purchase. This sheet set is legit and exactly what I was looking for. Very satisfied.

Lovely sheets but they shrink!
Color: 01: White
Size: King
Lovely sheets but beware, pillowcases shrink a ton! Washed my set in cold water, low dryer heat and he pillowcases shrank 4 inches in length! So of course now they don’t fit my pillows. Have to return sadly, they really are soft, substantial sheets.

These are pretty amazing sheets, remember to wash first!
Color: 01: White
Size: Queen
Love these sheets!! Definitely it's an upgrade that I have not had the ability to do for a little while. As always, I wash my sheets before putting them on my bed. What is important with real Egyptian woven sheets is not to have excessively hot temperatures with your water or dryer. They arrived quickly they fit the very thick but mattress perfectly. The thickness and texture of the sheet is definitely more like a winter weight level than that breezy floaty summer weight level. But I'm enjoying them in 90° weather. So as I reiterated, I very much enjoy the sheets and they wash easily. They're comfortable. My significant other is also thrilled with them. If anything changes, I will either change or update my review.

Amazing!
Color: 03: Mineral
Size: King
These bedsheets are amazing! They are so luxury and super soft! I love how thick they are and the extra details put on them that make it easier to stretch around and hold onto your mattress. The pillowcases are really soft too. Same material. I’ve slept great using these sheets. The color is adorable. It’s super durable and has been holding up. Great! I have no reason to think that it would ruin anytime soon either cause it’s just super good quality. I would definitely buy again.
