Perfect size, durable, good value

My family had acquired an eclectic collection of random leftover containers over the years and it was always a pain to find a matching container and lid in the cupboard. I ordered a set of these, got rid of the old ones, and now everything is uniform. Boxing leftovers is now effortless as is cleanup in the dishwasher, since these are glass. They hold more than you think and are about the perfect size for individual meals. The pantry and the fridge are both more organized, given the uniform containers, and you can see at a glance what’s in them. Some other reviews mentioned chipping, but after several months of consistent use, we haven’t had any chips. They are a reasonable price for good quality, and I would buy them again. ... show more

Size considerations

I got these to fit in my spouse's lunchbox sized red Coleman cooler after carefully measuring its interior and comparing to the specs of these glass dishes. Though the lid dimensions were not available, I took that into consideration and left a margin of error. But guess what. They do not fit quite right in the lunchbox. I have to tip them sideways. The lengthwise dimension is fine. The short side is what doesn't quite fit. I kept them anyway. I can still close the lid of the cooler even though the dish is crooked inside. Can also still fit a thin ice pack in there. One of the lids slightly warped in the dishwasher on the top rack (first time I washed any.) It now requires a lot of brute force to snap onto the container. So I have taken to hand washing the lids fearing more warping. The size of these are great for a filling, but not decadent, lunch. You can expect it to hold a meal that is about 300-600 calories or more (obviously depending on what you put in there.) It looks small but feeds a 210 lb man to satisfaction. Easy for a routine. I just pack a spoon and napkin. He has a separate water bottle. The dish goes right from the lunchbox to the breakroom microwave. Ready in a few minutes. Be sure to take off the lid before microwaving. Examples of what fits, and makes a filling meal: A large stuffed bell pepper split in half lengthwise. Beans and rice. Lentil pasta with sauce. Meat and potato chunks. Stir fry veg and rice. Mashed potatoes and a thick meatloaf slice. Curry and rice. Cold chickpea salad. Corn tortilla enchiladas. Etc. The quality of this product is great. I threw away all plastic storage tubs back in 2019 and have exclusively used this brand since. I have repurchased twice since my initial order I enjoy them that much. Great for meal prep and leftovers. Have never had an issue with leakage for freezer burn. Perfect size, leakproof, and sturdy

These are identical to PrepNaturals 30 Oz Glass Meal Prep Containers, but on sale, they are much less expensive! For me, they are a perfect size for about 2 portions of entree, from freezer to cooking, or the other way round. Tops can go in dishwasher! FYI- sometimes you need to fiddle with the tops to be able to close all 4 flaps, but they do close, stay closed, and do not leak. ... show more

The size and glass is good but in my opinion the most important part is the lid and it is hard to snap on. I usually can only snap two of the four side clips.
