This set of clamps is a decent assortment of sizes and types for a starter set. The speed clamps have a metal slide with plastic like clamp bodies (the ad says nylon) the material is tough but I find them comparable to similar clamps I purchased from a brand name, lower cost tool store (HF), that work well enough but are not suited for tougher jobs. I clamped my hand with the slide clamps and they easily generate good force. The spring clamps have good spring force too. The corner clamps are interesting as they they can move to help align the material as you tighten them but it takes a bit of effort to turn the screw. I cycled them a few times to see if they would loosen with the initial use and I didn’t see any change. The protective pads stay on well enough, I’ve had others that fall off to easily. At roughly four dollars a tool this is a decent set to add clamps to your toolbox, but they wouldn’t be my first choice for heavier duty jobs.

When I received this, I was surprised by the packaging. I was expecting the normal plain brown box, but this came in a very nice well done box. This is a really good clamp set for the price. Everything is much sturdier than I expected, especially the bar clamps themselves. Once tightened down, they hold firmly and do not constantly slip or loosen during projects, which is honestly half the battle with cheaper clamps. I have primarily used them for woodworking and random garage projects, and the one-handed operation makes things much easier when you are trying to hold pieces together and clamp at the same time. The quick-release mechanism also works smoothly without feeling flimsy. The included spring clamps are useful to have around, but the standout pieces for me are definitely the corner clamps. Those made lining things up much easier during assembly work and small framing projects. I honestly wish the set had included four corner clamps instead of two because those ended up being the most-used pieces in the box. The ability to switch the larger clamps into spreader mode is also a nice bonus and gives the set a little more versatility than basic cheap clamp kits. Overall, this is a solid starter-to-intermediate woodworking set with enough variety to handle a lot of different projects without immediately feeling like you need upgrades.

This 10-Piece Bar Clamp Set for Woodworking has some nice features! First, you've got a couple different sizes, a couple different styles, AND you can take an end off the long bars and turn them around so that instead of squeezing together, you can push apart - handy to hold things in place sometimes! The clamps work as expected with a quick-slide lever and then the squeeze grip to finish tightening the clamps. The only reason I deducted a star is that almost all the parts are plastic, so it'll only last so long. But, it's a good basic set for general household repairs, or smaller woodworking projects. It's reasonably priced, and would make a nice gift set, too. I like them and they're already coming in handy around the house.

This is a very versatile clamp set that has everything needed for a lot of different projects. There are 10 Clamps total. Two are 12 inch and four are 6 inch and all great as adjustable clamps. The only difference is the length of the clamp. The trigger tightens and the second trigger loosens. Works excellent. There are two spring clamps have adjustable jaws. They probably take about 25 pounds of pressure to open and close. Overall, they do work well. Then there are two 90 degree angle clamps- these use a thread to tighten. They only open about 2 inches and can only be used for long and very thin pieces- I would put them into the almost useless category since it is very specific circumstances that they can even be used. Nevertheless- for 8 great clamps and 2 not as useful clamps- this is a great value. The clamps all feel sturdy, and the padded jaws help protect pieces from damage. Would Recommend.

For inexpensive clamps these are working quite well. I like the variety in this pack, and they even include a couple of corner clamps, which I find come in handy very often. There are enough clamps to handle most small jobs in my workshop. They are also quite strong, which is important in many operations such as mitered corners. I like the way the outboard jaw separates from the bar with a push of a button. The reach is somewhat limiting, but for most small projects there's no need to go rummaging through the toolbox. This kit can handle the whole project. They look like they will hold up a good long time, but then only time will tell. Seems like a good value for the money.
