It seems that whenever I need to clamp something, that I'm always at least one clamp short, so I thought a ten-pack might help solve that problem. These clamps are well made out of material of adequate quality. Fit and finish are acceptable. The clamps are easy to use and hold well. These are very similar to those locking vicegrips you will find for cheap at hardware stores. Their quality is about the same too and I've had pairs of those types of vicegrips for years so hopefully these will last that long as well. I got the 6 inch version of these clamps and even with the adjustment screw loosened all the way, it seems the thickest material I can effectively camp is about 1.25 inches thick which should be fine for a lot of things, but like the description said they will probably be most useful for working with thin sheets of things like welding or plywood work. You wont be clamping 2x4s or anything significant together with these things at all. At $4 a piece, this seems like a pretty decent deal and similar to a price you might find at harbor freight, and they seem to be pretty decent quality too. These vice clamps are pretty handy if this is the size you need. Obviously from the picture, they do not hold too much when closed. However, I needed something to hold flat work together for welding or woodworking. These are great for that. I thought putting 10 of them in the box is a great idea. Buying one clamp is a waste of time. No matter what you are making or fixing, you will need many clamps. 10 works out great. I recommend these. ... show more
