I've been cutting my own hair for over a decade now and I've never gotten my long layers exactly how I want them, but I've also never been bothered enough to go search down the tools I need to do it correctly. This kit has it all, but what makes this 100% for me is the razor comb and the thinning shears. I can finally cut my layers correctly because I can now maneuver through my weird hair clump that weighs down all the hair on one side. I still remember watching my favorite former stylist use the thinning shears to create texture and then shape everything with a razor comb-- I have those memories crystal clear and now I can do it myself! There are regular shears as well, two combs (including a rat tail for sectioning) and clean-up brush. There is one sad little clip, so if you're going to do proper sectioning, you will want more. There is also a sad little cape that really isn't up to the duty, so get yourself a proper cape as well. Everything comes in a nice zippered case so everything stays together. I've swapped out my good shears with the ones that came with the set and tucked in more clips, so I'm good to go. Not professional quality by any means, but it does what I need it to do.

SCEDREAM 10 PCS Hair Cutting Scissors Kit. Thinning Scissors, Cutting Scissors, Comb, Cape, Clips. Case. I have been cutting my own hair for decades and began cutting my partners hair during the pandemic. I have several other hair cutting scissors and thinning shears, one pair of hair scissors I have has lasted me over 25 years old while others have gone into the trash after one use. The clips, combs, and hair cut razor are fairly cheap feeling and flimsy. The carry case and the cape are nice. But BUT... The scissors work very VERY well. They have excellent movement and a perfect hand fit for me (I am a woman with smaller hands). For the price ($ 9.99) getting both scissors and thinning shears? Well worth it for home use and a nice addition to my home haircut equipment.

I picked up the 10 pc scissors set to trim bangs and hair in between salon appts. I think it's fun to cut to my hair; the scissors are nice and sharp and I use the thinner shears on the ends so hair lies flat. Are lightweight, comfortable and cut hair precisely. Def a step up from the kitchen drawer scissors ! The set comes with a variety of combs, cape, thinning shears (really like these) and regular haircutting scissors plus a zipper pouch. I got the blue-handle silver color; it looks nice and is a great amateur set for either men or women.

I cut hair in my kitchen for friends and family, but I don’t do it professionally. I can’t justify spending the cash on a fancy set of sheers since I’m not a full-time hairstylist. This little set is absolutely perfect for my needs. The scissors cut surprisingly well, and the storage case is a real bonus. It comes with combs, clips, and a cape, too. I don’t know how this would perform in a salon with someone who does hair every day, but I’m more than impressed with the quality for in-home use.

The Good: Nice trimming wallet. The thinning scissors is great for trimming my mustache and chin beard. Scissors are easy to manipulate and are of good quality. The Bad: One hair clip was broken and seem very fragile. One comb is too long to fit inside the case/wallet. It has to be put inside at an angle. This kit seems to be something thrown together to make a kit. Overall: Price is fair for what you receive. I can always upgrade the tossed in items to make it work better for me.
