Worked for Ryobi AP-10. If you don't have the official 6072883 - an orange plastic blade alignment gauge - you can use calipers to set the blade tip 1.5" away from the the back of the blade holder. You should take off the top cover, then the rear dust cover to access the blades. Remove the bolts and the old blade and holder will come off. Stick the new blade in and adjust to that 1.5" so there's a small profile sticking out from the spinning blade mount. ... show more

I have an older Ryobi that needed replacement blades. These fit perfectly, were an easy install, and a significant improvement over my original now dull blades. Planned some black walnut with them - worked well. I have only done about 10 boards - so far so good. My old blades should have been thrown out a long time ago. These new blades are sharp, they are a good buy and my planer now has a new lease on life because I believe these blades will last a long time.

These are highly durable...we are building our home...this is the second time ordering these blades...I have no idea how many boards were planed with the first set...but we are thoroughly happy with them

I purchased these blades based on reviews. They arrived quickly and were easy to install with the blade guide that came with the planer. They work well and are a great replacement for the blades that came with the planer. Be careful installing them as the blades came sharpened!

    • Blades fit well and are easy to install.
The blades came sharp and all the dimensions were the same as the original blades. All the mounting holes were correctly positioned. I used the original Ryobi alignment tool that came with the AP-10 and it was easy to attach blades to the fixtures that holds the blades. The blades were single steel manufacture as described. The original Ryobi blades were made from laminated steel. The original blades lasted for a long time on rough cut hardwoods. I will update review if these blades get dull prematurely. ... show more

I am at least the 3rd or 4th owner of my Ryobi 10" AP-10 planer and have purchased these blades from Amazon at least two or three times since I have owned it. It's an older tool but works well especially after switching out to new blades. Come very sharp and I pre-drilled holes are great. These do not come with instructions or a guide of any kind so be prepared to Google or YouTube in installation if this is your first time. After a time or two you are good to go. I would suggest purchasing the installation guide tool if you do not have one. Great product though! ... show more
