They are elegant, go with any type of decor, and are good for people from 24 in their first apartment to 70 year olds in homes filled with decades of tasteful gifts and offices filled with awards, books, and art work. I gave four of these as gifts--then bought one for myself. All the recipients seem very pleased with the plate, are all using it for different things, ranging from a container for business cards to a plate for nuts and for floating two flowers.
