This is a good, heavy duty extension cord. It is exceptionally good for utilities like fans, small electric appliances etc. I used this to replace an extension cord I bought in a local hardware store. If you compare side by side, you can see the difference. This cord just feels heavier than the two prong, ungrounded cord that started sparking where the wire goes into the socket end. This cord is used for the 50”flat screen tv in the living room. The other is in my back room and it gets use with soldering irons electric hand drills, etc. I would not use it on an extremely heavy duty utility though. All in all, it’s a great extension cord. I have two of them that get a lot of use. It’s grounded for safety. Need one? Buy it.

Exceptional high quality materials and design. Flexible, smooth wire rather than a stiff, easily kinked cheap wire often sold. Lies flat and straight against the wall and on the floor. This was the only extension cord with a 90 degree angle plug (so the wire lies flat against the wall) that I could find on Amazon where the wire would hang straight out of the plug rather than angled. The wire from angled plugs hang beside rather than in alignment with the outlets, look odd when plugged into the wall, and force the wire to be slightly twisted rather than in straight alignment with the wall outlet. The 8’ length looks and works perfect for my application with three electrical devices plugged into the extension cord.
