Due to this not having a fin for the bottom of the kayak like others usually do, it’ll just spin and rotate while you’re just sitting in the water and when the wind blows. It blows up fine if you have an air pump, but the foot pump that comes with it, is overly pathetic. Don’t know how they didn’t think that one through. I had no issues out on the water with it. One side did seem to blow up more than the other making it look rather uneven in the front. I bought a separate oar to go with it because it didn’t indicate that it came with one. Also do not try to have them send you a new one if yours is defected. They wouldn’t leave it unless someone was home during the day and you gave them a code they send to your email. Because I guess they assume people done work? Made the entire process of even attempting to get a replacement overly inconvenient and overly annoying to say the least. Just going to return and get another one from a different brand.

I got to take this kayak out over the weekend with a friend who had a stand up paddle board. There are three compartments you have to blow up and then two spots in the seat. I wasn't a big fan of the different nozzle types for each section and the manual pump is pretty slow, but my friend with the SUP finished inflating at about the same time as me. If you plan to use this often, I would invest in an electric pump. Once in the water, I was very impressed by the stability. You feel very secure, especially with the sides being like big pontoons. The only water I took on was from my paddle dripping but I almost let a little in when sliding around and readjusting. There is a ton of room in this thing and I can lay out and relax as a bigger guy. I think you could fit two people in this thing if one of you was smaller, but legs might be a bit cramped. The kayak doesn't quite cut through the water like a hard style one does so you do quite a bit of spinning if you're not actively trying to cancel your motion with the paddle. I think it could have benefited from a rudder in the back to help keep it straight. I thought the included paddle was fine, it's nice that it can break down if you want to keep it in the bag. I wouldn't try to push yourself off with this paddle, but for getting around in the water it does the job. Deflating was easy enough, but an electric pump would be a big help. I love the convenience of being able to keep this in my car and take it out whenever. I could even throw it on my bike pannier and ride down to the lake, which is a huge benefit. It's not a super thick material which keeps it light weight but I wouldn't test my luck trying to launch near a bunch of rocks. Even with a few quirks, this inflatable kayak offers some seriously worthwhile benefits over a traditional kayak. At the current price, I would take this over a hard kayak any day. Overall I am super satisfied with this thing and I hope to pickup another so I can take it out with a friend.

Eh, this kayak is okay. Pump included is a joke, it'll take you all day to blow it up. Seat is more comfortable than others I've had, mostly because it rests within kayak. Paddle is terrible. No rudder so easily impacted by current and/or wind. I probably would not buy this kayak again to be honest, but it has also met our basic requirement which is an easy to transport kayak.
