This rc drift car is cool. it is fun to drive and easy to drift with the drift tires. it comes with normal street tires, too. The car has some decent speed but the throttle isnt proportional. its all or nothing. Same for steering but the car is easy to control. The battery life and transmitter range is average. The transmitter has 2 speed settings and a button to power on and off the lights. Not only does it have headlights and lights on the wing, it has ground effect lights!!. Awesome.

The media could not be loaded. It's a lot of fun for the price :) -- both my kids love it and so do I, but the advertisement of "30KM/h" is flat out exaggeration. Other than that, it's a ton of fun. The reason for knocking a star is the fact that it claims variable speed, but that is not for the trigger --- it is only for changing it from "high speed" to "low speed". The remote trigger is either on or off, which makes it incredibly difficult to do any real stunt driving with the vehicle as it is always going full blast with the lightest touch. This is expected at this price point, but since it is advertised it as being variable, I was hoping for. If you want something to play around the house with the kids --- this is a great bit of fun for the price. Batteries last a decent amount of time and since it comes with a spare, it's easy to swap in and out when needed.

My son has had so much fun playing with this RC car. He has a couple, but the fact this drifts like it does is especially unique. And it truly does drift effortlessly and doesn't just turn sharply. The quality is great and it is well made. The body is flexible plastic but can take a crash without breaking apart or cracking. The overall look is very neat. It is a great design. The wheels being interchangeable from smooth drift type tires to more grabby tires is also a cool feature. It is easy enough for my 4 year old to operate and after playing with this for a month, still works flawlessly and looks as good as new despite multiple crashes and falls down steps. I love this includes an extra battery. This way if the battery dies mid play, we can switch batteries and continue without waiting. This is something that was frustrating with his other RC cars. You just never knew when it would run low rendering it unplayable until recharged. This is a good value considering the quality, fun factor and durability. I actually have as much fun playing with this car as my son. I'm thinking we need to get another so we can race. I'm just not sure if the RC works separately for each vehicle.
