This is a really fun truck to mess around with. The fact that you can dial in your throttle response, steering response and general acceleration curve makes this much more adaptable for my needs. I'm trying to get my 2 little ones into RC cars and have had a hard time finding the correct combination of a cool looking vehicle with the actual function of an RC car and not too fast. Many of the RC vehicles they have had till now have been more tank style drive systems instead of front or rear wheel drive. This is a nice standard rear wheel drive truck with a ton of options including a wheelie bar, lights and the ability to set different profiles on the transmitter. The truck comes with 2 different bodies, one blacked out and the other is a more colorful blue and red, 2 batteries, charger, transmitter and instructions along with a small screwdriver for the transmitter battery door. All of the components appear to be decent quality and upgradeable if you ever want to. The shocks are oil filled for example and the tires seem to be good quality and upgradeable also. The instructions are good and they go over the basics of the vehicle as well as detailed drawings of how all of the components are assembled. They do a great job with diagraming all of the components and if you ever need to replace parts or want to upgrade components, these instructions will come in handy. The magic for me was in the ability to adjust the throttle curve and overall power. For my little guys, I can dial the throttle all the way down and the power curve down to give them maximum control and help them level up when they gain more confidence. If you dial the throttle up too much, the vehicle is going to be very uncontrollable, basically it will flip when you corner, but then you can dial in the steering response to minimize how much steering occurs to help minimize this. You can see how the options can be very helpful as you progress. Overall I am very happy with this unit and it was exactly what I didn't know I was looking for.

The AMAZINGONE 1:20 scale RC truck is approximately 8" long. Going by the overall length of a standard shorter version of a RAM 1500 of 229", that makes this more of a 1:28 scale truck. I do like the size of it, but apparently the same people that are advertising the lumens of flashlights have moved on to also doing scale truck sizing as a lot of these scale claims are a bit inflated. For its size, the RC truck has some decent power and is tons of fun to play with. It also comes with two Li-Ion batteries so that you can swap batteries if you run the first one out. I have mixed feelings about the battery packs. They last a decent time and I like the way they slide in on a rail to mount. However, they are a sort of proprietary design and use a special USB charger so I can't use my high-end and fast RC battery smart charger with it. I do like the way that the body clips on to the frame and holds it on securely without having to deal with any clips. It is a nice looking RC car and comes with two body shells, both of which are great looking. Now the bad stuff... The Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) is garbage. It operates on a delayed basis and seems to only update the throttle on what feels like 1 second intervals. Additionally, going into reverse isn't smooth and often takes several tries to get it to activate. If there one thing that should be fixed, this is definitely it. It would be a pretty awesome RC truck if the ESC were improved. I gave this a 4-star rating because of how fun this truck is and the addition of the two body shells, if the other parts weren't so good this would be 3 stars at the highest due to the ESP issues.

I love RC offroad buggies and have several in my collection that I test and run. I’ve really enjoyed running this one! Its smaller size makes it stand out from my other models, giving it a unique factor to it but it packs an impressive power. Brushless motors are the way to go in my opinion and this was carries that under the hood. For it's size the little motor is a beast. It advertises 60 minutes of playtime. I only run them for 20-30 minutes at time to protect the motor but it still has plenty of juice after I am finished. This 4x4 truck handles all terrains like a pro, dirt, mud, grass, sand, pavement, you name it. The shocks do a great job absorbing a variety of impacts and the tires grip better than some of my more expensive models. It has a progressive speed adjustment on the remote, which allows for fine-tuning the throttle and not all RC cars offer this. What this means is that the speed output can be adjusted so beginners can begin learning to control it at a moderate speed and increase the speed options as skills improve. The durable PVC body design, with roof bars and guards, holds up well against crashes, and it comes with two different body covers for a fun bonus. Overall, this is a high-quality and exciting RC buggy that delivers power, control, and durability in a compact and unique package. Definitely worth adding to any collection!
