I rode the other tire under the ground. I love them so much. Sadly they went out of stock so I purchased a different pair that was much heavier and gave a lot of road noise. But getting a half inch thick tree branch jammed in one of the tires, I saw these were back in stock. I bought them again without hesitation. Very few cons and many pros. Smooth way way better then OEM ebike tires Rolls much further No rolling resistance No loud noise Easy to install Even tubs are much thicker then ebike tubs Glad I didn't listen too the review that that other person left because these tires went on nice and they are very smooth and fast. Love them. Update after riding in them. I absolutely love these tires so smooth and fast highly recommend. Amazing grip and speed.Update tires have been excellent love them 10/10/24.

I bought these to replace the stock 'knobby' 20x4 tires on my E-Bike and I'm completely blown away. I mostly ride on the street so I wanted street-oriented tires to replace that LOUD knobby tires my bike came with. Most 'street' tires on Amazon are expensive or are partly knobby. These are the only tires I found that actually look like 'Motorcycle' style tires you would ride on the street, and the price is Amazing! The tires come folded up, I simply unfolded them and put them out in the sun for a few hours. They looked warped since they came squished. However, once installed the regained their actual shape and are completely round and smooth. They are also TRUE to size compared to my original 20x4 tires so the speedometer readings, ride height, and any component clearance will remain the same. Installing was not as hard as I imagined, they include plastic tire levers which did the job. Once you inflate them the bead will sit on the rim. The hardest part for me was removing the old tires, the new tires went on fairly easily. These tires run SO QUIET I was completely blown away the first time I took them out. The knobby tires would hum so loud but not these. Also road grip was greatly improved. Ride comfort is also a lot better. For $50 a pair you CANNOT go wrong. These are literally a fraction of the price compared to other tires on Amazon and they are absolutely awesome. They will make your Bike feel like a new machine! Hope this helped :) ... show more

    • Tube Exploded Because Tire Would Not Seal Right

Stranded 7 miles from home with my groceries because try as I might this tire was just too loose and would not get the hop out of it no matter how many times I tried to reseal it. Stock set eventually smoothed out on their own but these ones blew up my tube seven miles from home with a ruck full of groceries after riding bumpy for fifty or so miles. Only had filled to 25psi. Smooth ride other than the bump and the not having a tube anymore. They felt thick and quality but just the back one would not seal right no matter what. It was just too loose. Update a couple months later: Have had two three more flats on the back tire. Small twigs pierce right through it. Each time I put the tire back on I seem to get it a little closer to not bouncing but never perfect and only after messing with it for 10 to 15 minutes. The very next time I got a flat with this tire was another time I went shopping and had a bunch of cold groceries in my ruck on a 95 degree day. These tires are the worst. ... show more

When I received the tires the packing and ties had put creases in the sidewalls. I massaged them for a while and while I couldn't get them all the way out, it did improve. After installation on the wheels I slowly brought up the pressure and made sure the tires set correctly. I over pressured them a bit, then deflated the tire and then brought it back up again. Everything looked good, so I put them on the bike and took a 30+ mile ride. There were no problems, the tires rolled smoothly, look good, and are very quiet. This is a great price on a good tire. Still to determine is how long they will last, but don't be put off by the creases in the sidewall - work it out as best you can and make sure they set on the rim correctly. These are on a Velowave Ranger 26 X 4. A recommended buy. ... show more

One of two tires was a really tight fit and difficult to get even the first bead onto the rim, even with Park Tool's steel-core tire levers, and I was worried about pinching the tube while trying to get the other bead over the lip. the other tire was easier but still a snug fit. Probably good if you wanted to use them tubeless though I don't think they state tubeless ready anywhere. They match the product image. I haven't had a puncture yet, though I believe that's just a matter of time, and I expect to be frustrated trying to remove one at the roadside to fix a flat. I'm using these on a bike trailer, so my priority was reducing rolling resistance compared to the tires I was replacing and not increasing traction ... show more

So these tires are awesome but a lil tricky and maybe a Lil scary for some riders. Awesome: They are awesome because the look cool, smooth ride with quick acceleration. Tricky: These are tricky because they totally make you lean when you turn and you have to fight the steering when turning. Scary: Scary because they make you lean a ton when turning. Also when you ride without hands under 7mph the front tire does the motorcycle wobble! All in all this is a fun tire and they could even teach croch rocket style like riding. When I installed tires I pumped them to about 10psi and did compressions around both sided of the tire to prevent tire coming off the rim. Then I managed to get a full 30psi inflation without any problems that some reviews speak of. I highly suggest these for experience type riders. ... show more

Not meant for a heavy ebike. Check with the manufacturer of your e-bike before purchasing these tires. My bike weighs 88 lb and these tires are very unstable with my weight and the bike. I weigh 210. If you have a fat bike and you like to cruise the beach with sand or soft dirt, then I believe these would be amazing tires. With the lighter bike they would also be great on smooth pavement or asphalt. ... show more
