I bought this drill bit for a basement renovation that I am doing. Initially, the drill bit was cutting through the studs like butter, but I noticed after doing about thirty studs that the drill bit started to slow down and bind more. I needed to use a bit more force but it got the job done. For the price it's a decent bit. Maybe if I tried to sharpen the cutting edge it would have worked better again BUT I feel that I shouldn't need to sharpen it in order for it to work well the whole time. ... show more
