My family and I have had a chance to run a few batteries through this guy and wow, what a fun time. We have plenty of experience with hobby grade crawlers and bashers and got this to putt around with or use on camping trips where we don’t have space to bring the big boys. The build on this isn’t hobby grade, but it’s a lot nicer than we expected, is pretty close to hobby grade in many ways, and is holding up to our use and abuse so far. The adjustable speed control is really nice for passing the controller between experienced and inexperienced drivers. Steering is good and throttle control is nice. Fun on “slow” and a bit hard to keep from spinning out on “fast”. Electronics get decently warm if you full-throttle an entire pack as you’d expect (probably a good idea to rest a bit between packs if you hammer down the whole time). Yes, we can easily do donuts and power slides with this on the cement we’ve been running on. Other thoughts: - Great take-anywhere size - Quick on lowest speed setting, ANIMAL on fastest speed setting - Two batteries and a charger included - Good run times (we’ve averaged 20min per battery) - Two bodies included - Body clips have the tabs which are very convenient We’ve had a blast with this thing and have no complaints. At the $69.99 price we got it at, it is approaching some hobby grade trucks in price but all-in-all I think it’s a lot of bang for your buck and we have no regrets. If you tend to be extreme and often ram objects when bashing or take on huge drops and jumps, you may want to look into how hard it is to find replacement parts. We haven’t looked and do not know because we run hard, but not insane and have not broken anything.

The only time used a 380 motor was in our vintage TAMIYA Grasshopper from 1984. That have been upgraded to brushless and that flies like a bat out of hell :-) OK onward to this RC buggy. Very good price point for this toy grade car but you can find hobby grade upgrades!!! Pretty soon the upgrades will cost more then the cost of the car but that is the fun. Can enjoy as-is and make for things to break or slowly upgrade to aluminum. Can still break but looks much better. You can get around 25 minutes of playtime per battery. Awesome of them to include 2 batteries. You can buy more if needed. Charge and enjoy away at the local park, beach or backyard. LOVE these toy and hobby grade RC stuff. All metal drivetrain along with the shocks is a huge plus. Feels hobby grade. As long mods and upgrades are avail that is a huge plus. Toy grade price with hobby grade expansion. Controller requires 3 AA batteries NOT included. PLEASE only use lithium-ion as they DO NOT leak and offer very long term storage. Great RC to bash around. I would not Evil Knievel the buggy :-) PEACE - LIVE - LIFE - LOVE - LAUGH - PRAY

As someone who only used cheap toy cars as a kid, this one is a massive upgrade. It's got decent power too and can go through tall grass with ease. It's decently fast too, but not crazy fast, the 40mph claim on the title is likely a mistake. One concern would be spare parts. If something breaks, finding replacement parts would be difficult. The seller does have some parts, but not all of them. Another issue I ran into was the car randomly cutting out when I tried to reverse. It would stop moving for a second, then it would start moving again. Other than that, I think it's great to try out the hobby and see if it's for you.

Great little car. 2 batteries and 2 body shells make this a good deal. Car is fast for a brushed system. Battery is a LiIo but that is fine for a 2S. Run time is about 15 to 20 mins, but do be careful as after 15 minutes of pretty hard running, the battery and motor are hot to the touch. Body has very little flex and takes a real beating with no issues. I had some full speed head on hits into a tree and there was not damage. Remote has good feel and response. It does need 3 AA batteries. Even the directions are decent and well written. I mostly like rock crawling, but this is a fun little basher that is easy to set up and easy to drive.

Super simple controls and very easy to use, are the earmarks of this little RC. Comes with the tools to change the wheels along with the set of paddle tires and a second body. This combo kit will be very well received by anyone interested in RC cars, and I haven't even got to talk about the awesome all metal four wheel drive system! But seriously the only negative thing is the battery compartment, it really limits the type of battery you can put in this for future upgrades unless you grind out the plastic pegs.

Not so great in grass it's own height. This car is fast, though with decent suspension. Parts are upgradeable and the car is built well. The only thing lacking is the ability to adjust the turning radius. There is a steering trim and throttle trim in the remote but no way to control how tight the car turns. It takes wide turns when accelerating but it does handle well. Two batteries are included for a good time

I'm a big RC car collector and this one is one of them that I like a lot,it is 4 wheel drive that give it good climbing ability and it pack the power to do it,this is a really fast one that makes it great for racing it has a wide wheel base that help it to keep it on all 4 wheels in sharp turns great fat rubber tires has good gripping power com with 2 batteries pack for longer playtime great pistol grip remote overall this is one that I like added to my collection
