WHAT’S INCLUDED: -RC Car -2 Lipo 2S Batteries -Transmitter -Cleaning Brush -Battery Charging Cable -Carrying Pouch -Instructions PRODUCT/THOUGHTS: Transmitter: -They skimped out a little bit on the controller. It’s not the best quality, but when you are under a certain cost range, it’s more tolerable. -This controller has a Bind button, which you’ll need to do the first time. -There is no light control on this either, so the lights on the car are either On or..On (Unless you disconnect the cable from the roof lights) RC Car: -They encased the motor and other components which is very nice. I imagine this helps with splash resistance. -The suspension is So-So. There is some plastic to it and not your usual full metal..I’m a bit concerned about that so you might need to watch your jumps with this. -Taking the shell off is different than most other vehicles. There is a locking switch on the back that you need to turn. If you look underneath the shell, you’ll be able to see the mechanisms that hold it onto the body. There are NO cotter pins with this setup. -There are 5 sets of LED Light bars on this car. Roof, Front, Rear (red), and both sides. The ones on the sides can also be slightly pivoted which was pretty nice so you can illuminate the ground more around it. -This is a 1:10 ratio vehicle so it’s large as you can imagine, with good sized tires. -The headsup assembly comes preinstalled on the back but it’s not the best quality. It’ll get you buy but if you happen to impact it too much I don’t think it’ll hold up. Its one of the weak points of the whole body. Performance: -The performance was pretty spot on for what they advertise. They give you 2 proprietary 2S batteries to use. It’s not the fastest car. They list it as 43 km/H which is about 26-28 MPH. I rarely used full throttle, usually about 75% and on full flat surfaces, it was fast and responsive. I can’t verify the top speed though. -by Default the Left/Right tire control is the opposite of most cars though and I don’t know if there is a way to change it. This did throw me off alot when I was testing because I’m so used to the other direction standard. -It worked well on most terrains. I did full hard surfaces like concrete, asphalt, and Small rocky areas, dirt, ground bark mulch and some light grass sections. It has plenty of power to push through. Summary: This is a great beginner car and Alot of people will enjoy this. Just don’t drop the controller because I don’t think it’ll hold up. There also isn’t any kind of Power switch ON the car itself…that’s really odd. Once you slip in the battery, it’s ON. So that’s another weak point of this setup. I thought the release for the shell was a little odd at first since I’m so used to cotter pins but it kind of grew on me the more I used it. This car has a very wide stocky stance and it really holds up to staying balanced and grounded. It’s a shame they didn’t go with a higher-quality suspension though. Style: 1/14 Brushless RC Car
The ITEFDTUTNE 1:14 Brushless Remote-Control Car exceeded my expectations in just about every way. As someone who used to race RC cars back in the day on the ROAR circuit (I raced in the 1/10 Electric Offroad Modified class with my RPS/Yokomo Dogfighter SE), I am not new to RC cars, but it has been a while. Since then, I have owned the odd car here and there and I currently have a 2WD Stampede that I bring out every now and then to have some fun and I recently picked up a Tekno 1/8 EB48 2.2 4x4 Electric Competition Buggy Kit. I am by no means an expert, but I have kept up on the general technologies and releases. I say that hoping it may add a little weight to my review and opinion because I really am quite impressed with this RC car. Like most other RTR (Ready to Run) RC cars, this one is already completely built and all you need to do is charge the included Li-po battery for the car, put some batteries in the transmitter and you are ready to have some fun. It comes with quite a few components that are usually not included at this price point, including a brushless motor! It comes with a USB battery charger for the 1500mah Li-po battery packs so the only thing you have to supply are the batteries for the transmitter. The transmitter is super light and appears made from a lightweight plastic. While it feels a little too light for my tastes and a little on the cheap side, it does come with steering and throttle rate, steering trim, servo reverse switches and an on/off switch. It does a good job and if they needed to cut costs anywhere, I am glad it is with the transmitter material and not with the important parts. It can be a good thing too though as it means less weight to transport and to hold in your hand! This thing is much faster than I expected! My daughter has a 1/18th scale that cost more than this one but has a brushed motor and this one is faster! While the ITEFDTUTNE 1:14 Brushless Remote-Control Car is not a competition level RC car, it is not a cheap “toy” that you would get at a big box retail store either. It is a great option in the ever-growing 14th to 1/18th scale “hobby” class of RC cars. It is a great option for someone wanting a good, solid, quality built but smaller RC car to go out and rip around the outdoors and have a lot of fun.
