This is a pretty cool remote control vehicle. It steers like a tank, which is, by changing the direction of the drive wheels relative to each other. If you're turning left, then the right-hand wheels all move forward, and the left-hand wheels all move in reverse. So if you're making a turn, the vehicle stops, turns, and then moves forward or backward in a straight line. The vehicle is fast and fun to play with. Charging and swapping the batteries is easy. It does require a screwdriver (included). It's fast and cool and a lot of fun to play with! WHAT’S INCLUDED: -RC Truck -2 Rechargeable Li-ion 7.4v 10500/900mAh batteries (One is inside the battery compartment of the Truck) -Screw Driver -USB to battery Charger -Remote Control -Instructions/Warranty Card PRODUCT: This RC Truck is pretty large at 1:12 scale. It has an Amphibious design that allows it to completely go through water. It has a silicone ring that goes around the internal components of the vehicle, and around the battery compartment. The On/Off switch is also sealed off. It’s 8 Wheel Drive, so All wheels help the vehicle move and honestly it needs it since it’s kind of heavy and needs all the help it can get. This RC truck is considered All-terrain and you can spin it 360, albeit slowly. For my testing, I ran it through dry dirt and mud. It handled both of those just fine. Driving is a bit different than most cars because it needs to stop its current action before it can do the next action. So For example, if you drive Forward, it needs to STOP, before you can then Turn it Left or Right before you go forward/backward again. FINAL THOUGHTS: It can go up most terrains pretty easily. It says it can reach up to 25KM/H on dry terrain. I’m not so sure about that, but it’s decent for its size. It is pretty LOUD however in comparison to most vehicles, so if you are playing with this indoors just be weary of that. In all my tests, the waterproofing held up and I didn’t have any issues. This vehicle easily ran over the other RC cars I had around at the same time and it was kind of funny to watch lol. It climbs over most things and it’ll do well in your yard, or at the beach. Playtime is listed as 30-40 minutes. I would consider that accurate as each battery lasted well over 30 minutes. There are no headlights or any kind of lighting on this vehicle so you’ll want to play with this during daylight hours. ... show more

So first thing we had to try was to see if this truly could function in deep water, and even upside down as shown . After verifying the battery compartment was closed completely and looked like it sealed well, we put it out in our pool and let it go. Rightside up it worked just as shown, and could even still turn standing still. Flipper it upside down and the same. Full vehicle is under water except what the tires hold up and it worked well also. As far as regular ground it functions as one would expect from a standard rc. It's not going to win any races or uphill/rough terrain challenges but it runs across small/medium gravel well enough and through grass and puddles.should be decent on semi solid dirt then as well. Batteries last about as long a smoat of our other rc units and unsure about the controller yet as we've not had to change them. Speaking of the controller, it is rather cheap feeling as are the buttons for controlling. It works well this far though, just would be careful about dropping it or letting it get wet. Not a bad price either, I think it's a fun standard rx with some extra fun to be had if you have water near. Just be careful not to exceed transmission range. This truck is a remarkable unit. It can turn in a stationary position due to the many tires: it is the ultimate doughnut vehicle for spinning in circles. The device comes with two rechargeable battery packs for the truck. However, the remote require two AA batteries which are not included. This might be the best or at least the coolest RC vehicle I have purchased in a few years. It does work exactly as advertised and in my opinion possibly even better. We have taken this outside multiple times starting in the sand, going through a rock garden and ending up at a pond where it provides endless entertainment. The controls are easy to remember once it's been used consistently. This truck will literally roll over anything smaller than itself and it doesn't have issues with steep inclines either. The fact it goes in the pond and comes back out and keeps trucking is amazing. This RC is built very solid because it can go in water without letting water damage it. Before the water it blows right through any dirt or sand and won't get jammed or even slowed down much. It doesn't even have to really be cleaned before they start using it the next day. So durability hasn't been an issue at all. Overall, this is a super quality RC that will make every user super happy, plus the aesthetics are really cool too. I only wish we had the other color too so the twins could play at the same time, with each other. Then they could go on adventures and race each othee too.
