Style: Horizontal Standard Slat Size: Queen
I've always disliked sleeping on a bed that had rails underneath the bed springs. That's how they did it in the '70s and '80s and as a child I wasn't heavy enough to go through the railing. As an adult that's a whole other story. All the bed frames now say that it's okay to put a mattress on top of the slats but gravity says your body is going to push that mattress right through the slats. But here's the thing. I'm not on a bed frame anymore. I put a new box spring (not from Amazon) on the floor in the middle of my sleigh bed frame. And then I put an Amazon mattress on top. I have to be on the floor because I have a bad spine and I'm dealing with spinal stenosis. I can't take a chance of being on those slats underneath a mattress. But guess what? I can still feel the springs of the box spring underneath me even though I'm on the floor. So I decided I needed this bunkie board. Since I'm on the floor I didn't know if I should get a vertical one or a horizontal one. And then I went back to my first point of never wanting to sleep on slats again. If I only get horizontal that will happen eventually. Since I can only afford one at a time I went ahead and got horizontal this month and next month I will order the vertical one. It is so easy to just take out of the box and roll across the top of my box springs. It's HEAVY though! I cannot believe I dragged it through the house with my bad back, but I had to and I did it. It has made a world of difference already in my sagging mattress and being able to feel the box spring sticking up through the mattress. It gives me great support and I know once I get the vertical one also, I will feel even more supported. It's a good design in that the slats are enclosed in some cloth so it won't snag anything. It fits inside of the frame of my sleigh bed perfectly and goes on top of the box springs perfectly. This has literally saved my back. When I can afford the vertical one and a new mattress I think I will be sleeping in heaven. Good choice! I think it's a smart answer and value! ... show more

  • This is the one to get! Don’t waste $ on others.
We are quite happy with this purchase. No real assembly required, just roll it out & put your mattress on. It’s a quality product as it’s holding up great under the weight of two heavy adults. I highly recommend this “bunky board”. We’ve had others & they didn’t stay in place the way this one does. We’ve even tried one that went from headboard to footboard longways & I don’t recommend them at all. This one I will buy again. Don’t waste your $ on others, save $ & get this one. ... show more

  • Box spring alternative
Style: Vertical Heavy Duty Slat Size: Queen
Purchased this to replace box spring. Queen size is a tad short horizontal but it still works. It does slide on the frame a little so just fix it once the mattress is on. Shipping spee was fast and pricing seemed reasonable. Unwrap and lay it on the frame.

  • Solves disability issue
Style: Vertical Heavy Duty Slat Size: Full
I use a hand grab bar that sets between the mattress and metal bed frame. This product gives me a firm foundation for my grab bar horizontal legs to pry against. I can pull myself out of bed easily. My mobility is compromised and this product makes quality of life better. Easy to set up and use.

  • Perfect for platform bed with no box
Style: Vertical Standard Slat Size: Queen
Absolutely necessary if you don’t use box spring.

  • To long full size
The boards are nicely packaged and I like that they are held together with the collapsible fabric, but they were about an inch to long. My husband had to take them out and cut them to make them fit. They went right back into the case after and we stapled it back up. They work fine once trimmed but warning, they will require extra work in our experience. We put them on my toddler full size bed. ... show more

SUCKS I have been having problems sleeping and it always never stays in place. Finally took it off yesterday after becoming annoyed and frustrating that Now I am looking to buy a new and better one. After reading what everyone has written I thought I was the only one having problems. I have a full mattress and the bords do not fit and it been a nightmare. Save your money please and get something much better. This brand should be taken off the market. ... show more
