abunda_amazon_reviews First, a few credentials I'm a professional YouTuber however, before that I was (and am) a professional audio engineer and owner of a production studio. I've been designing and building professional and project studios starting in 2010. Without getting too technical or delving into basic physics-these foam pieces are good for one thing. Decoration. Yes, they absorb a tiny fraction of high frequencies-something around <16Hz, which, of course, will not help with soundproofing. However, if you're like me, and you're in the market for some cool looking panels for the background of your videos then these perfect! I have a door that didn't match the new paint in the studio and these worked great. *SIDE NOTE BELOW* I want to be VERY clear. Foam, of ANY kind, does not and cannot soundproof a room. Foam, if used for sound treatment (totally different than soundproofing) should be used very sparingly. The over-use of foam (again, of ANY kind) guarantees a mixing nightmare and an unmistakable "boxy" sound that cannot be fixed. If soundproofing is what you're looking for then this is NOT a product you should even be considering. If your situation calls for soundproofing then it's important to note that you should spend as much time, money and effort in sheetrock, Green Glue, rubber membrane, Owens Corning 703/704 (bass traps), and making sure your walls/ceiling are angled correctly (nothing should be parallel).;;Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2018;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Great Decoration, Bad Acoustic Isolation.;;Nas B.;;;The product is very good and I was able to set it up with ease.;;Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Five Stars;;Holden Hardman;;;These are incredibly thin.
