I've used Zymox on three of my dogs. It is great for stopping anything itchy or possibly irritating. A spray or two and the itch goes away. Yes, that fast, it goes away! It can keep you from having to deal with an infected hot spot down the road since your dog will not have the desire to lick or chew or scratch after spraying. The product does stop the itch but stains my Bichon fur yellowish color. I like the cream better because no staining.

Got this to help with an itchy rash on an indoor cat. She was suffering terribly. She was scared of the sprayer at first, but within a day or two she recognized it was giving relief and actually ponied up for a squirt and a nice rub through her fur. Worked very well. Also tried spraying it on her brush and brushing it through her fur. She liked that as well. Did leave her with sort of temporary unsightly yucky fur, but WELL worth the relief it provided and her fur was back to normal within a day or two. ... show more

My Persian cat ripped her hair off after coming in contact with grass, we were prescribed medications from the vet, wrapped her wounds nothing would work. I bought this as a last effort as its the same brand we use for my Shih Tzu's ears. Within days you could already see improvement!!
