Big fan of insulated bottles/thermoses here... Mainly I've used Contigo's and a few other well known brands in the past, so I have a good stockpile of varying sizes. Of course, I was excited to try out this huge thermos/bottle from a new brand I haven't heard of before... Packaging was nice, instructions for cleaning included. First impression; this thing is BIG - but in a good way. I drink a lot and hate making trips to the kitchen for refills. Feels very well constructed, have been using for a bit now and have dropped and banged around without issue. Comes apart and is easy to clean, though it's deep so if you don't already have a hand brush set think of investing in one (they're cheap and versatile). This definitely also keeps beverages either hot or cold for long periods of time. I've fallen asleep with a mug of tea and woken up with it still hot. I'd imagine that, like other vacuum insulated mugs, it probably will keep a beverage cold longer than it will keep it hot, but with the double-insulated stainless steel it's going to be a while for this one. In terms of price, sure, it's not cheap. But, when comparing to others in this same market/product category I'd say the pricing is about average, and for what I would consider to be a premium product. The only thing that this doesn't have which I would have liked is a top made with the purpose of drinking directly from it instead of just for pouring. Similar to the Otter line where for the larger one like this you can get either a pour or drink top or purchase both options if u want. Would be nice, but not the end of the world. Pros well outweigh the cons. This is now my go-to bottle for huge amounts of chai tea I brew for myself every evening.     • Surprised at how little heat it lost during my test

I adore my 2-man Zwilling J.A. Henckels knives, so I thought I’d try this Zwilling thermos. I decided the best test was simply to see how well this thermos held its heat over four hours, which I figured was an average amount of time folks would want their lunch to stay hot. I preheated the thermos with the same temperature of water I was going to put in it, 117 degrees. I chose that temperature, simply because I could do it with faucet water. Over the course of four hours, during which I opened it 8 times to test the temperature with a Thermapen instant read thermometer, the temperature dropped only 5 degrees. I figure a decent amount of that heat loss was due to the eight times that I opened the bottle long enough to take a temperature reading. Start – 117 30 min – 116 60 min – 116 90 min – 115 120 min – 115 150 min – 114 180 min – 113 210 min – 113 240 min – 112 In addition to keeping the temperature very steady, the thermos has the usual design, with the exception of the lid, which comes apart for easy cleaning, a very nice touch. Very, very pleased with this Zwilling Thermo beverage bottle. As the parent of kiddos with autism, there are causes near and dear to my heart. Let Amazon donate to your favorite charity!
