We have been looking for plastic tumblers for a while. We bought two sets of these tumblers, first one set, which we were happy with, and then another set. They look very elegant. The clear plastic makes them look like glass tumblers, but they are much lighter and seem to be sturdier (although we haven't dropped them intentionally to test their sturdiness, or by accident). Our last set of plastic tumblers lasted for many years, but didn't look anywhere as nice as these sets. ... show more

We have a tendency to drop things in this house, and I wanted the highest quality, unbreakable acrylic cups I could find. These seemed to be the best I could find, and although I wish they cost less, they are working out fine. I wasn't sure I was going to like these, but I have to admit they're not bad. I was hesitant to spend more than $50 on two sets of these plastic cups, but you know what they say… happy wife, happy life. After more than a month of use, they're holding up well. My aunt suffers from arthritis and she is also blind. I became very frustrated with the amount of glass that she would break daily as she tried to hold a cup, or tried to get a cup, but could not see. I wanted her to give up glass and instead invest in good quality acrylic. These glasses look amazing. And now, despite her dropping them constantly, they have not shattered and left a glass where she can’t see it or hurt herself. These are also perfect out by the swimming pool so that there’s no glass on the patio. We will also use them in the boat where you also don’t want any glass. ... show more

We bought the same type of glasses somewhere around 10 years ago. We liked them so much that we bought another set shortly after. They held up for quite some time, but eventually developed cracks in the bottom and started leaking. I get it. They're plastic and they will only last so long. So we threw away the bad ones and bought a new set a couple of weeks ago. The first thing I noticed is that, although they resembled the glasses we bought previously, the plastic was much thinner on the sides and on the bottom. I really didn't care much about that until we developed a crack in one of these new glasses during the very short amount of time that we've had them. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the look and feel of these glasses. We've loved them enough through the years that we intended to keep on buying them in the future. But, unfortunately, the durability is a bit of a question mark now. Maybe we just had a bad one... but I was disappointed enough that I felt like I needed to share my experience. If another glass develops a crack in the near future, we'll be moving on to a different brand. ... show more
