Used for the first time today. It did not cut through the garlic. Ordered on Sept 10 and it was delivered on Sept 11. It is about a week past return window, but I feel like I should be able to return it since it doesn't work and I just today used it.

I used this the day it was delivered. It is extremely sturdy and easy to use. I have always struggled with traditional garlic presses but this one works perfectly. Clean up was easy as well, and the included garlic scraper/knife made getting the maximum garlic amount out of the press simple.

You can mince/press more garlic, faster, than with a press and this is much easier to clean. Garlic presses leave too much waste that it flattens but doesn't mince and they take a lot more effort to clean. I rinse this one well immediately after use, a dish brush will ensure you don't have any garlic hardening in the holes, then all three pieces can go in the dishwasher. Be prepared for your house smelling like garlic! I light a candle n the kitchen before I start and remember not to use the ceiling fan over the island...maybe we had an especially fragrant variety of garlic, but it may well have been the process of mincing/pressing the cloves with this tool that released a lot of a strong garlicky scent that I smelled all over the house for days the first time I used it on only one huge clove. I didn't light a candle and I think I had the ceiling fan on low that first time. The second time I took precautions and they worked very well. The peeler and scraper are essential. I store them together on a shelf instead of a utensil drawer where they would get lost. Also, unlike a traditional press, you can mince/press all the clove, even the outer part that isn't as moist and wants to flatten like a peel. Just press down hard and continue to scrape the surface clean and you will eventually get all of the clove minced with no waste.

Really don’t like this product, does not simplify mashing garlic, takes too much strength, pressure and time. The old fashioned way is easier and quicker.
