This juicer may require some patience to use and emits a rather loud noise, vibrating your countertop just a bit. However, it will provide some rather flavor-filled and healthy juice. Essentially, you insert fruits or vegetables from the top, push them into the masticator, and after a bit of loud and vigorous 'processing', you're rewarded with fresh juice. It's important to resist the urge to overload the feed chute, though. However, if food does get stuck, there is a reverse feature that allows you to untangle the mess and restart the juicing process. As with most juicers, cleaning remains the least enjoyable aspect of the whole endeavor, but this model is neither more difficult nor easier than others on the market - it's about on-par. Considering the price point, though, I believe it offers a really good value for the quality of juice it produces.

It's a little loud, and you have to be gentle with its feeding, but the results are pretty good - good enough for me to want to branch out and try to make butters out of some vegetables (zucchini & corn for starters). Clean up is average and as expected for this type of machine. Set up is easy and the learning curve is almost nothing.

The media could not be loaded. This Zulay cold press juicer is my first experience with juicers, so I have no basis for comparison with others. This one, however, does a great job of extracting juice -- at least from oranges and pineapples, the first I've tried. The instruction manual is clear and simple in explaining how to use the machine. I was somewhat surprised with the small amount of juice one gets from two pounds of Valencia oranges. That is just my own inexperience, as I'm sure other juicers have a similar yield. The juicer is easy to feed your produce into. The screw-like central portion pulls the raw fruit or vegetables into the screw-like central piece, where it is crushed under massive pressure to extract the juice. The juice flows from one side of the machine, while the pulp/fiber is pushed out from another side. My photos show the fiber being pushed out and shows how dry it is. The juice has all been extracted. From the two pounds of Valencia oranges, I got a yield of about 3 cups of juice. Similarly, a large Golden pineapple yielded about the same amount of juice. My wife and I like the mix of orange and pineapple, so this works great for us. Once I had finished the extraction, I was left with the task of cleaning the machine. It was a pleasant surprise to find how easy it is to clean the machine. One of my photos shows a small rectangular spot where the fiber accumulates and a narrow knife or skewer is needed to clean out that piece. That is the only hard spot to clean. The rest of the pieces rinse almost totally clean with just a flow of water from the kitchen tap. Of course, you still need to wash them with dish soap, but that is a simple task. My short video show the machine in the process of extracting orange juice. Please pardon the shaky video, but I hope it gets the point across. On Amazon, the juicer is shown with whole oranges, but the manual with the machine says to peel oranges before putting them through the juicer. I decided to combine the two approaches, leaving a couple of oranges with the peel intact and peeling the others. The pieces with the peel add lots of flavor and didn't slow the juicer down at all. It handles the unpeeled sections with the motor not slowing down at all. In short, this is a great machine. Easy to use and simple to clean.

Compact and effective juicer, perfect for in home production of the best juice combinations for every taste. Easy to clean and easy to assemble/ disassemble to use or clean, some parts are dishwasher safe. The juice quality and taste is amazingly delicious. Very well worth it and takes less counter space and less estate for storage.

This juicer is different from any other juicer I have used in the past. Those used a high-speed shredding blade that was then spun in a chamber to get the juice out. You had to stop frequently to get the mush out of the chamber, and it was very loud. This one is different - it slowly crushes the fruit to get the juice out, and then separates the pulp and expels it at the same time. This way you don't need to stop and clean it out, it just comes out a different chute and you can collect it as you go. When I use it, the pulp that comes out is a little wetter than the pulp in the product picture, so I am guessing it is slightly less efficient at getting all the juice out. But it is easier to use, and it is much quieter. The chute where you put in the fruit is also quite big, which makes it easier to put things in it as well. It is a little messy to take apart and clean, but that is the case with any juicer. On the whole, I think this is a very good value and look forward to using it in the future.

Let's face it - fruit juices that you buy in the supermarket are basically just sugar water. Half the bottles themselves say like "10% juice", which means that 90% is just water and sugar. It's a total ripoff and, to really salt the wounds, most of them have no pulp, which where all the good vitamins are! That's why, to save money and enjoy a much better class of juice, I decided to get my own juicer. I picked this one out specifically because it's masticating, which means it really pulps up the fruit and gives you all the good stuff while leaving just the inedible skin or peel out. You're getting 30%-40% more juice out of every fruit, especially those where juice and pulp is trapped in the skin, like lemons or grapefruit. No matter what I put in the juicer - from oranges to apples to kiwis, I had a nice pure stream of fruit juice coming out. The self-cleaning is also awesome - just put water in and every part is cleaned out. I really can't recommend this juicer more. If you need one and have the space, get it.
