I bought this tumbler to replace one that was driving me crazy with its many shortcomings. I’m so glad I did. This one is perfect. I use it for hot tea and it keeps the tea hot for several hours. I particularly like the inside is lined with white enamel. The tea does not stain it and it’s easy to clean. The top fits snugly without leaking when you sip (the old one did this) and the pull tab makes it easy to remove. Love it.

I bought a 40oz ceramic lined cup from another company, but wanted a smaller one so I wouldn't feel like I was carrying a water cooler with me everywhere. The 24oz size is a little too small for running errands and whatnot, but I like the color/texture of the cup. It is textured (kind of like a smooth bedliner in a truck), which I really like so it's less slippy if it gets wet. All that said, I washed the cup by hand with soap and a paper towel when I got it. I'm weird and didn't want any sponge tastes in my waterr cup. I say that because I know the cup was in perfect shape when I got it and I didn't wash it with a scouring pad or anything like that. Anyway, fast forward to my first refill of water and the inside of the cup is scratched and the metal under the ceramic lining is peaking out. I am guessing that the ice from the ice maker somehow scratched the lining when I put ice in the cup on the first fill. Pretty disappointed about that. The 40oz ceramic cup I have from another company is still in perfect condition and I have used that daily for months.

The mug part is great, keep drinks hot a long time and is ceramic, which is nice. Dishwasher safe. Now let's talk about the lids... one in particular, with the sliding opening for drinking, cannot be cleaned. If it comes apart to clean I can't figure it out, because the sliding part gets coffee underneath it and won't even come out in the dishwasher (and I have a great dishwasher, less than a couple years old). I can't slide anything underneath the little door to clean it out, can't even squeeze a straw cleaner in there. I'm a little OCD about things, but that little drop of coffee dried up under there is going to kill me. I don't even want to use this thing anymore. If you have issues with leftover dried coffee on the lid where you drink from, this will not be the mug for you. I am going to keep looking for one I can actually keep clean. Oh and when it's closed, the pressure from the heat will build up and the lid will pop off randomly, making it not spill proof at all or even spill safe.

I really needed to replace my stainless steel insulted tumbler because I absolutely hated the metal taste it gave when drinking anything. Size: I really wish I bought a bigger size. This size is not a fit for my needs. Whatever I put in it is usually gone within an hour. Call me a guzzler if you want. I love to stay hydrated. Leakproof: well I don’t think it should even say this and I definitely would like a screw on top better than this design. I would not risk storing this cup in anything that will be leaning, turning, or twisting. I’ve already had multiple accidents where the lid was secured and it still leaked out Lids: they are crap honestly. I’ve had mine under two months and the little tab that is supposed to be used to help you take the lid off has already broken off. Pics included. Which essentially would make the cup useless had it not been for the additional lid that came with it. Also i prefer the lid that broke over the sliding lid that I had left in the packaging which I’m stitch with using now. Functionality: I do like the handle as opposed to other cups I’ve purchased . The cup is light weight due to its size. Overall: I would not buy this cup again. It’s not worth it to me. It’s just not my vibe. Too many disadvantages including the lid design, the size, and the fact that it’s not really leakproof. May be okay if you will only be using it at home for beside hydration. 2 stars for the handle and the fact that it’s actually a cup lol. 😆 I’ll continue on my journey of trying to find something that truly fits my lifestyle.
