The charger gets concerningly hott.. it is the correct charger for my scooter but the heat after 30 minutes had me decide to no longer use it for fear of fire.

This original charger worked as expected. Looking at the charger you can see that it was a original charger as it has the Segway logo on the power brick. The adapter cord for in snug on myMac G2 scooter. Charging speed was fast as I took only 20 minutes to go from 67 percent to 80 percent. The value for the money is there as Segway charges close to $70 for the internal charger. The charger functions as I expected once I saw the tail light glowing. Overall the charger is a great addition to my Max G2 for when the internal charger fails again.

The power adapter for the Segway Ninbot works flawlessly. There was no noticeable difference in power delivery and all the lights on the scooter lit right up as they should. As such, I'm very pleased with this quality replacement power adapter.

This ZOVEEK is a good value for around $22 and is compatible with the ES2, E2 Pro, F30, and G30LP models. 42V 1.7A output, which is the correct spec for these scooters. The LED indicator shows red while charging and green when full, and charges the ES2's battery from empty to full overnight, usually about 6-7 hours. Build quality is decent - the brick doesn't get excessively hot during charging like some cheap chargers do. Plug fits snugly in the scooter's charging port. Charges consistently and the battery health seems fine based on range. For the price difference versus buying direct from Segway, this is a no-brainer. If you need a replacement charger for your Ninebot scooter, this works just as well as OEM for a fraction of the cost.

While this charger advertises itself as Segway Ninebot compatible, it should be compatible with any 42v scooter with a DC8016 plug and I have used this successfully with my non-Segway scooter. Please note this is a 1.7a power charger and charges slightly slower than my 2a charger. It is heavier and seems better built than my original charger.
