I have been looking for a lightweight comforter for years and I sleep hot at night. This one is really perfect for a cool night's sleep. I don't love the shiny/slippery fabric but I'm getting used to it. I haven't washed it yet as I wanted to test it out first but I'm definitely keeping.

If you are a hot sleeper, and like it cooler, this is the ticket. It is not really a "cooling" comforter. Rather, it is a comforter that does not warm up. Somehow. It stays room temp-ish rather than warming to your body temp. Somehow. LOVE IT.

This comforter definitely sleeps cool but it’s not nearly big enough to fit my king bed. It only hangs 2” over the sides and foot of the bed so I wake up partially uncovered after a night of tossing and turning. It’s put together well, is lightweight, and is silky smooth to the touch. If it was cut bigger to hang over the edges of the bed by at least 6” I’d give this a much higher review.

I honestly wasn't sure what I received as the box was so thick and so very heavy. When I lifted this throw out of the box, though, it was so lightweight. A deep striated gray in color. I got the throw size because, honestly, I intended to use it as a mega-cooling mat for my dog as they (for pets) tend to be on the small size. Buuuuut, nope. If you have a pet with a cooling mat you will know what I'm talking about. This is cool to the touch. Satiny. Smooth. NOT weighted. NOT a 'blanket' or comforter. Honestly, when you look at it ... it seems more of a duvet cover with no fill lol. This is something you can wrap yourself up and it's like having a fan over your body. Sorry dogger, this is for the son lol. I think this would be perfect for SO many situations. Hot flashes. Hot sleepers. Adults or children with a fever and need to keep cool but in comfort. A hot day but you aren't ready to turn that air on yet. So many ways this can be used for people of all ages ... or ... a HUGE cooling mat for your pet. Fortunately ... for the dog hahaha ... I was able to find a throw-sized pet cooling mat because this one is definitely being used for the humans! lol Directions do say wash in cold in a mesh bag (a bag is included but it's not mesh) and hang to dry - out of sunlight. That can be a problem for me lol. But, I was Freya's cool mats in cold water and hang over the rub or shower curtain rod so ... same. I've also tossed hers in the dryer and they came out fine. I recommend this one million percent and then some.
